WMF Perfect Plus Safety Valve for all WMF Pressure Cookers

Perfect fit for our WMF pressure cooker

I almost returned the replacement safety valve because it looked nothing like the original one or the picture on the item listing. But this one is the new and improved version. The ball bearing is contained in a separate cage inside the safety valve and the whole unit is bulkier. But the tip does fit thru the old lid opening when you install it from inside the lid. The ball bearing fell out of the old version of the valve. This one looks more secure.

So happy that this new design fits the lid of the WMF Perfect pressure cooker from the 90’s👍

This is the new style safety valve. It is wider then the more cylidrical grey ones from the 1990's. It still fits in the older lids and works great. The only problem is that it does not fit under the plastic cover listing various recepie preassure and cook times.

My WMF pressure cooker had stopped holding its pressure. I wasn't sure what part was failing and ordered both replaceable plastic parts and the ring. When I was removing the old part I could see that this was the part that was damaged and sure enough but after replacing it my pressure cooker worked again perfectly.

The valve is perfect. Easy installation and works a treat. Cannot distinguish from the original.
