These work great! This was my second order. The first time I ordered, I wanted to see if they kept my neighbors cat out of my flower beds. Yes they did! I extended my garden bed and bought more. I first tried an automated cat water sprayer, but it didn’t work. These do! No more cat poop in the flower garden.

I use to keep my cat out of my garden, off of furniture and away from our axolotl & fish tanks. They work like a charm and now I’ve removed some of them and my cats still know not to go in that area. If they do step on it, it doesn’t hurt. It’s just a very uncomfortable surface. They are very strong and I cut them with a nipper to use smaller pieces

I have a very small artificial pond in the back yard, with fish, and was having problems with predators. I lined the pond with these and the murder rate went down to zero. They cut easily with shears for lining irregular borders. They will break if you step on them, and will not deter lightweight critters like squirrels (can anything really deter a squirrel?) I am replacing them this summer because after a few years outdoors 365 they do degrade, spikes break and they get brittle. Still a good deal. If you do intend to use them outdoors, don't forget a package of the shorter garden staples to hold them in place.

These spikes are perfect. They are gentle enough not to cause harm but provides a great deterrent

I have mixed views on effectiveness. The mat clicks together well and is easy to set up in such geometric ways to cover an area. That said, our cat has made a habit of either taking her time to carefully walk past the plastic spikes or, at times, going far enough to pull the mat away from where it had been placed. They are completely ineffective in our home with our cat, but I don't blame the product for that.

The cats just figured out how to use it. Smart cats, they just take gingerly steps and it works fine for them. Ugghhh

The concept works great at restricting pet access but this product has poor connectors for the separate patches. Other versions of the same product connect better.
