very modern without being "cold"
Absolutely love the new stand. When installing the bracket to the wall just make sure not to over-tighten the lag screws into the the wall. This created too tight of a lip and the stand brackets didn't have the ability to sit in the bracket. Not sure what the manufacturer is thinking about securing the lag screws into the studs by hand with an allen wrench. I'm not one to over drill the size of the hole and the instructions were right on for the diameter of the screw and the diameter of the drill bit. Luckily I had a few adaptors and bits so I used my impact driver to drive in all the screws into the studs. We did ignore the manufacturers recommended mounting heights as we used the "hidden compartment" of the bottom shelf to hide not only all the cords but also the outlets for electric and cable. It was a little bit of a game of patience playing with all the cords, luckily my wife was there to help with her smaller arms and able to reach in from the bottom access hole. We were very nervous of the color as in the picture from the site it seems lighter than what we wanted, but we knew we didn't want black, as J Rose put it an espresso color would be pretty close. It was a very pleasant dark wood grain. Matte finish and not a lot of contrast or any other color background. Definitely in the dark brown palette, and the grain texture is there but not heavy by any means. A nice soft visual texture to not distract from the nick knacks stored in it or the tv on top.

The BEST Customer Service and Great product
I am writing this review after using the product for over 2 years. It still looks new, and holds my 55 inch Sony TV. Assembly was easy, product is sturdy and adds beauty to the TV as well as the room since there are no more bulky cables. There are several good reviews on this product and that is not why I am writing this review. This product comes with THE BEST customer service. Here is my recent experience:We relocated to a different state couple of months ago. I tossed lot of furniture but took this TV stand with me as I like it very much. While trying to reinstall the TV stand in my new home, I realized that I lost the floating metal bar during the transit. Thankfully amazon stores all the order history, I could reach to the seller and was directed to the manufacturer. When I contacted the manufacturer, I was pleasantly surprised. The agent was very gracious and simply said that they understand these things happen and that they will ship the replacement part to my new address for free. The replacement part was shipped within two days and I received it quickly and it was perfect fit.I don't think any other company can do this for their customers. Standing by the product even after three years is simply amazing!

Got me so many complements!!
This thing has gotten me SO many complements . Easy to assemble , although 2 people are needed to put it up. It looks great , the wood grain matches my wood panel den great , tucks the wires great . Holds my stuff perfectly fine . My only problem was that my SONY surround sound AMP was to tall ! It wouldn't fit! I had to get a cut off wheel and grind into the bottom casing of my brand new amp to get it to fit! Very scary thing to do . I don't recommend you do it . Don't tell Sony on me . I still want my warranty . Lol but anyways . It worked perfect , looked perfect , conceals wires great . Only wish the top shelves were a little taller so I wouldn't have to resort to cutting into my 400+ dollar electronic equipment . 😁

Great unit. Solid and heavy. Well made. Buy it! Looks awesome!
Great and well made product. It's heavy! The directions say to have two people to lift it and put it on the wall; and that's a true statement. I did it by myself, but my back hates me for it.Took about 30 to 45 minutes to assemble. Instructions were clear; with pictures. When you install the shelf on the wall, there is NO room for error. You MUST have the metal rail that attaches to the wall exactly where you want it. You cannot slide the floating shelf even one centimeter to the left or right once hung on the wall. So if you need to have the shelf centered, like I did, double check you measurements first. This unit is very solid and seems to be able to hold a lot of weight. I didn't put put tv on it, as my tv is hung on the wall; the shelf only holds my AV equipment, which is all I needed it for.I wish the hole underneath the bottom shelf was larger. I had to STUFF all my cords and cables down, around, and in the back of the shelf. Looks nice now that all the cords are hidden, but again, it would be easier with two people to manage the cords. One to feed the cords, one to grab and organize them. This unit sits very tightly against the wall; you can't pry the bottom away from the wall (in order to get to the cords). So try to arrange you feed your cords correctly the first time.I would definitely buy this unit again, no question about it.

Very sturdy. Very cool.
Very cool product. Sturdy. HEAVY and larger in real life than it looks in the pictures. My only complaint, and it's not a big deal, is that once the unit is mounted to the wall it can be a challenge to feed cables down through to top hole and out the BOTTOM hole because you have to reach your arm up inside to grab the end of the cord that was stuffed down. If your arm is too big you can't reach up to grab the cord end to pull it down through. I had to take off my watch to make it happen. It would also be nice to have some kind of BACKING so you don't see the wall and mounting bar but I'm probably being too picky. Overall great product.

Better than Expected!
I was more than satisfied all around. Entertainment center takes about an hour to assemble, assuming you have legit tools and don't need to use the L key provided. The wall bracket is mounted stand-alone, so easy to position and level, the entertainment center hangs on the wall bracket. I was concerned about the weight of my 65' Samsung, but sits flush and firm against the wall, and look how well it looks tucked against the wall. Of course one of the corners was slightly dinged due to shipping, but they include a touch up pen, which helps cover up small nicks in transit. I am very satisfied.
