Came back to winter home to get de error code. Heard and saw wimpy effort to drain machine. Relatively easy to replace (pulled from cabinet and propped 2 front feet with soup cans). All you need is a pliers and a towel. Happy to save on repairman.

Trash, leaked after 2 washing cycles
Bought this replacement part for my LG dishwasher because it was a third of the cost of the branded part. You def get what you pay for. After the part failed I inspected the product manufacturing and found defects in the cast, which ultimately cause the leaking when the hot water cycles through. The installation was easy and start forward, but stick with the branded parts and def get the product insurance!

Easy Replacement
Our dishwasher wouldn't drain and had an OE error code. I checked for clogs in all the tubes and there were none. A YouTube video showed that it was probably the pump, which looked pretty easy to replace, so I bought one through Amazon. It arrived same day and I had it in place in about 5 minutes! Now the machine is running great!

Excellent product
Very easy to install. No need to drain the dishwasher, the motor is isolated from the water. Just pull the dishwasher out, disconnect one electrical connector (after unplugging from the outlet) and disconnect two water lines. The job can completed with the dishwasher upright. The pump is located lower center back. There are two rubber straps that hold it in place. By the way, if your looking for schematics etc that are not in the owners manual look at the back of the kick plate.

LG drain pump failure
Was about to order a new dishwasher for $600. Watched a short video, ordered the part. Changed pump in 10 mins. Very easy.

Terrible product
This is a terrible product had it for about two months and all of a sudden it starts leaking from the main seal had cabinets and floor damage due to it do not recommend buying

Perfect fit for my LG dishwasher
I received an OE error on my dishwasher. After checking all the hoses and finding no kink or clog, we decided to replace the pump ourselves. The part fit and works perfectly. It saved us a lot of money ordering it here rather than from LG directly or having LG repair it. The dishwasher now runs so quiet, like it is new!

Cheap, ineffective aftermarket part
Installed this aftermarket pump in July 2024 and it started leaking mildly (small puddle during running) in February 2025 (7 months) and significantly April 2025. Disappointed this part didn’t make it more than 7 months without having leakage issues. Will be replacing with a genuine LG part for approximated double the cost, but happy to pay that if it lasts longer than 7 months.
