Revival God's Way: A Message for the Church

I have heard of this title some over the years and decided to purchase read, and glad I did. The title may be considered one of the classics on the need for spiritual revival in our land. Among the many great points covered include: - Joy requires submission and service to God. - Do whatever God commands and not other peoples' agenda. - Despite the church's busy activities, we are still a valley of dry bones. - God's house (the church) has to be cleaned up before we see change in our nation. - Maintaining the status quo will stagnate us spiritually. - Those who know God and His secrets don't need to brag or strut around. - The more a person prays, the less worldly they become. Great read, easy to understand and comprehend, and bot encouraging and convicting. Will be read again and recommended.

If you want bold writing about a subject that needs to be addressed, then this is the book. I appreciated the great in sight on a subject people seem to avoid. Many people would lay it aside saying this is not necessary but frankly if you take a long look in the Bible with an open mind it gives you great insight as to why the Spirit of God doesn't seem to move in the churches today and what we label revival.

I have listened to many of his sermons and read two of his books and this man was a God seeker and God pleaser. Doesn't change in this book to get it to sell. His passion and piercing message would shake today's common churchgoer. Buy at your heart's worth if you dare.

Wonderful book that stirs your heart to seeking God's face!! This book is what the church of today needs to read! Some churches have stopped seeking the Lord in prayer and the result you see a dry church. These churches are using entertainment to attract people. God is holy and will bring judgment to all idolatry, unholiness. The only way to get a revival is God's way!

If you are wanting to grow your hunger for God and are serious about being a Christian than this book is for you. If you are looking for a feel good book that will make you feel ok about living a half way life for God then stay far from this Book! lol

The late Leonard Ravenhill, has always been my favourite Speaker and Writer to this generation. "He that has ears to hear- Let him hear!" A message lost in todays modern shallow, and cheap Christianity. Who would dare to read this??? He /She could make a divine imprint on this generation.

There are many things to like about this book. It is challenging and makes any Christian look at their walk and question their commitment to their Lord and the advancement of HIS Kingdom. It provides real instruction and inspiration. The chapters are short and are interspersed with poetry from Ravenhill himself. I did not know that he wrote so much poetry. It is a book I can keep handy and go back to again and again.
