Great Addition to My Workout!
I bought this hula hoop to add a fun workout to my exercise routine and its working. I'm feeling my core work and getting a nice cardio workout in. The assembly was pretty easy once I took my time to click in the sections and make sure they are secure, by twisting them back and forth. The padding is soft so it doesn't hurt my hips. The hula hoop is 3lbs, even though the box is 2lbs. This is also written on their store page. I highly recommend this hula hoop! You won't regret it!

Assembly was tricky!
My teen asked for a hula hoop, when I found this one I thought the weighted hoop would be an added bonus for getting some exercise in as well. This came in a pretty small box with eight lengths you “snap” together with a “button” end and a “hole” end. The foam padding comes on the pieces already and there is a white round circle printed on the “hole” side of the padded cover. Theoretically, they should just easily snap together…. You would be wrong with that assumption! It fell apart at least three times before we finally got just the right pieces together. The assembly was difficult to say the least! Once we had just the right pieces together and it stayed together finally, it took about three tries for my teen to successfully get a good rhythm in the place to keep it going. They reported that it hurt, but that is more because they are not used to hula hooping so I think that will get better or they will get used to it more. I would use this hoop inside or on grass only just to keep the foam from getting holes in it.
