Adjustable Dog Wheelchair for Back Legs，Pet/Doggie Doggy Wheelchairs with Disabled Hind Legs Walking (XS-A)

The media could not be loaded. Backstory: My mini-dachshund Ava (9 y.o.) got a pinched nerve in her lumbar area mid-stride when playing ball. She had limited movement in her left leg and no movement in her right. It did not affect her bowel or bladder and she had full use of her tail. The vet suggested acupuncture and stated to wait a week after the first treatment to use the wheelchair so as not to put any pressure on her spine until her injury showed improvement.Product review: One month later after receiving the product, I am extremely happy with how it provides support to her midsection with the cumberband. It gives her the freedom to go for short walks to build her strength and the ability to play ball which is her favorite activity.The instructions I received were in English unlike some other reviews I read before purchasing that were in apparently in Spanish. (I attached pictures in case it could be useful to someone else.) It was rather easy and simple to construct per the instructions and product video. Given her needs, I removed the back paw straps to get them out of her way, as we want her to use her legs as much as possible per the vet's instruction. It also came with extra hardware parts which was appreciated and a nylon grey leash.The extra small size fits her frame nicely with plently of room to go bigger. The only con is that her doxie chest bone tends to move the chest strap down and I have to adjust it to give her better mobility. I learned the the back strap needs to be tightened to rise the side bars higher on her shoulders for better movement. I do wish it had a bigger cushion band on the back strap. When using a leash the cushion band tends to twist around the strap not giving her good protection; however, it doesn't seem to bother her in the slightest and no rubbing marks are visible on her skin from the strap as of yet.All in all, my little girl loves her wheelchair and as you can see in the video, she does great with moving around though she tends to cut corners and get stuck quite often. Much to our amusement in her folly.Just a friendly side note: She absolutely did not like it in the beginning and would just stay in one spot and whine. Using her favorite toy got her excited to move around and so, to this day, I have to use her ball to go for walks. 😅🥰 She now knows that the wheelchair means outdoor fun and walks around our park-like community. With a dachshund that is quite the achievement! I hope this review helps, as when I was going to purchase the wheelchair there wasn't a dachshund review and I was a little worried on getting the right size and type of wheelchair for her needs. I am glad I chose this product and highly recommend the cumberband option for more back support.

I have a small senior 10 pound poodle that pulled a muscle in his old age a couple years ago. I didn't want to take the risk of surgery. He has babied the leg ever since. I caved after reading another review on this. BEST THING EVER! My dog mostly spent time on 3 legs. Broke my heart. After 2 weeks with this, my dog had new life and more strength in all his legs. Much more confident around the house and yard. He rarely uses it now. So nice to see him enjoying a more active lifestyle on all 4 legs 🥰🥰🥰

It’s nice and adjustable with sturdy little wheels. If you’re trying to help your little buddy out this is an affordable option to make your pets life better! Will last a lifetime.

First thing noticed was we didn’t get a brand new product, it was definitely used prior to sending it.Instructions came only in Spanish. Luckily it had pictures so the gist was there.That was all annoying but can deal with because it’s needed. However, the reason for the 1 star is because the harness for the front kept falling off our dog. No amount of adjustments worked. For some reason the chest piece just keeps falling down when our dog tries to move. I tried adding a clasp to it and connecting to the collar to keep it up and it still slips. It was snug against the dog’s chest and fur.For the price point I would expect this to perform a lot better, but this thing isn’t working.

Was easy to put together but was a little short but everything else was good.

My 14 year old Poodle mix is about 20 pounds and is 17 inches high in her rear legs. She is old and is having a very hard time with her hind legs and hips and is falling a lot. The HobyHove Small Size wheelchair fits my dog well. I think the Small Size would actually fit for a larger/taller dog too. I put the wheelchair on my dog for about 15minutes and gave her dog treats to keep the first try positive. I am slowly helping my dog to get used to using it. I am planning to only use it for a few hours on busy days. I do not want my dog to start depending on it. I want her to use her legs as much as she can. I have it set so she can use her legs or not. Its her choice.

These wheels are wonderful. They are comfortable and sturdy. Easy to adjust, easy to load the pup into. I am able to back him into it and attach everything without additional help which is important since it's mostly just me watching him during the day.For a while we just had them on for outside but he seems to tolerate them really well so we started wearing them for longer amounts inside the house, too, and he enjoys that. He likes to just stand there and rest, it's a nice change from sitting down and seems to give his back a break.Worth every penny!
