Just what I needed.
It looks real for my purpose. I built a mantle out of barn wood. I looked at a lot of options and chose this one because of the size. It was the perfect width. The vinyl is thick and looks real on my mantle. These are NOT the rivets that came with it. Those are tiny, shiny and awful. My rivets were purchased separately. It does come rolled really tight and it’s an easy fix to remove the curl. Reverse roll it. Unroll it; roll it back up against the curl, put something around it to keep it that way, leave it for a day and your Sh!t is straight. The glue is sticky but I wasn’t relying on it so I wasn’t worried about that aspect. I would most definitely purchase this same product again.

Not sticky enough and not a full 5ft
Used these to hide seems on metal square shape. I prepped the area and stuck them on. Looked good until I came in to check on them and all had come unstuck around each corner. Not only that the roll had some sort of defect midway through reducing total length. I didn’t need the full amount but those that do, this may hinder some applications. The dots (faux studs) are too shiny, I left them off not to mention they were all over the package, they all escaped off the sheet they were on.

Great look, easy install!
Looks like it would be janky even it cubes in the wrapper packaging but actually does a nice job looks good from the ground ready to install if course and the glue tackyness works!

Great, but needs to be a bit more adherent.
We had to tack it to the beam because it didnt stay stuck to the raw pine. Once tacked, and the dots (faux bolts) affixed, it looks fantastic.

Hides my mistakes
I installed the faux beam myself and the boards weren't long enough and I made the beam too wide. I found a similiar product to this once before that was wider but I also did a terrible job installing it. So, I tried again with this product. If it still looks shabby, it's not the products fault. I'm much happier with this attempt though. But I will say this, get some cheap super glue. The product sticks great while you are installing it. And that's helpful. But eventually, it did start to unstick at the ends. I just pulled back every end and put some super glue around the edges and it ain't going no where now. I love the little buttons you can add for decoration. You don't need super glue for those. They stick just fine.

Looks good but doesn't stick
Definitely gave me the look I was going for on some floating shelves. The tape must be old because it's very stiff and difficult to uncurl. The adhesive isn't very good. It started peeling and coming undone within an hour. I suggest using a strong brush on.

Adhesive doesn't withstand the test of time
Started to peel off within a year

Fairly easy to work with. The glue on the dots is really sticky so make sure you place them exactly where you want them the first time else you may need to touch up some paint. This was my first attempt at a faux styrofoam bean and it turned out pretty well. Address these faux straps really finished it. To ensure the corners wrapped well, I measured where the corners were and folded them over before removing the protective layer. One seems to be peeling a bit, but nothing a little construction glue can’t remedy. All in all, a good product for the price.

The product doesn't serve the purpose it is being sold for. It is so rigid that it can not be wrapped around the beam. If the beam is square on corners, it is impossible to wrap it. Even if the corners are bit rounded ( as usually for rustic beams), its not very easy. Only easy thing u can do with this strap is put it flat against any material. I called the customer support and was told the instructions are given in Amazon. Instruction only say that it can be easily cut with utility knife or scissors. I asked the company guy to explain how to wrap t at the corner. His only answer was it is very easy and read the instructions. I asked him why you guys put a small video on Amazon and make everyone's life easier, but no answer. Heavy duty utility knife works but scissors can't cut it. One option is to make a groove in it at the corner. But to do it you have to be professional rubber cutter.(If there is anything like that). If you don't apply pressure on knife, it doesn't cut it. Little extra pressure and knife runs through the strap. I wasted 1/4 of total strap trying various methods. Finally I had to cut on angle and sand it on belt sander to make 45 mitre. Had to do both sides of centre piece and one side of side pieces. Overall, the product is not worth money and time spent. I would give it zero or minus star if option is there. If anyone have an easy way of doing it please post it. Maybe I am doing it totally wrong and putting it on the product.
