In short this cleans better than any other product we have tried for the surface of a ceramic hob cleaner. It leaves a nice shine and some protective coating so regular use may protect the surface from wear and it will make it easier to clean. It does not have strong or lingering scent.The rest of this review is for those of with pets, with chemical sensitivities...although many don't know that is where their migraines come from, or thier child's asthma, those who care about chemical exposure, and finally those who just don't like the cloying and constant miasma of perfumes. I qualify on all counts, to the point thatbi live a very isolated life for fear of a life threatening asthma attack from someone's heavy use perfumes.I was hesitant to buy this, as it does list perfume on the ingredients. I am sensitive to many perfumes, in some cases to the point of several asthma attacks requiring paramedics. The hob brite we used to use is now so bad I cant be int he room for some time after it is used.Perfumes are completely unregulated and many have hormone disrupting agents, carcinogens and other harmful chemicals. And for those of with allergies, as they aren't listed so we have no idea which ones will trigger an attack. Those who have pets cant know which ones will trigger allergies, or in the case of birds, death either. Many pet allergies dissappear with reduced chemical usage and caged bird lifespans have nose dived over the last couple few decades, with many living less than half what those in chemical free households live.In addition, I have found more and more companies are substituting smells clean for clean. The products become more and more watered down ,to the point that in many cases you may as well just clean with water.They substitute heavy smells for cleaning agents and I guess that makes people think it is clean. Unfortunately Idon't think hob brite works quite as well as it did years ago.This must have a faint perfume, as the smell isn't bad at all. I could be in the same room as it was used and there was no lingering smell which affects the cooking. It did not make me ill in any way. Still I wish they woukd make aperfume free product, or go against industry standard practice and clearly list whatever products are used, making sure only to use safe scents.I am giving this product 5 stars because it is better than most. Almost no cleaning products are really safe for those with birds, who I feel act as th canaries in the coal mines of our homes. We have no idea how these products are affecting our dogs, who have much more sensitive senses of smell and must be constantly bombarded with stench. We do many have improvements in behaviour as well as massive improvement in allergies and other health issues whe. Humans reduce the perfumes in the environment. Household air is now more toxic than roadside air thanks to the array of poisons we use to disguise ba odours instead of removing them.So it's a sad statement that a product gets high praise simply for poisoning us less than most other products.

Very easy to use and removes stubborn marks on you ceramic hob. Although quite expensive you only need a small amount and it brings your hob up sparkling. I find it has no major smell but the lid is difficult to undo. The function is to clean and it does that andakes my hob like new

Great hob cleaner, does great job. The hob is bright and shiny again after previous cleaners left smears and marks. Value for money. Will buy again

We never used an induction hob before so were unsure of cleaning requirements etc. in terms of how often, what products and all that.Unfortunately, we made a bit of a mess on the mostly-used end of the hob (you can see in the photos) and it was getting worse. I looked into products to help me with that and this one had a lot of reviews and sounded promising.I first used a cloth and poured a bit of this solution and rubbed the stains. It immediately removed light scratches, dry grease etc. However, it struggled with our 'dead end' of the hob. The solution turns into powdery substance once you start rubbing and I think it relies a lot on friction between the dirt/stains and the cloth.Having tried that, I poured some directly onto the hob and when I say some, I mean all over! I did leave it for 15-20 mins and did use cloth again, this time pushed harder with the help of a wooden spoon - as my arms were killing me then!It removed, I'd say, 70% of the mess (see photos).I am on the lookout for solutions to somehow soften all the stains and use this product to polish and finish.This was my experience. I'd buy it again but it would be to main an already-mostly-clean hob rather than buying as a solution to remove the big mess. This is definitely not a product to 'deep-clean' like you would need at the end of a rental-tenancy-clean but surely something to help boost cleaning or maintaining the cleanliness.

The best ceramic hob cleaner I've used. Powerful but gentle no rinse formula just wipe on and polish off, very little scrubbing or scrapping needed leaving a glossy finish.

Used this cleaner on a ceramic hob and the results were impressive. Cleaned residue from the glass hob that other cleaners couldn’t shift. Highly recommended.

It cleans well but uses tiny granules in the liquid which are difficult to lose when wiping surface clean

Very pleased with this. I had pan marks on my induction hob & it has removed them.
