Carbostick 5ACTR Carbon Fiber Drum Sticks

I could get 4 pairs of Carbosticks for what it would cost me to buy one pair of the Vic Firth carbon fiber sticks. Weight, balance and feel of the Carbosticks is excellent. Haven't played a gig with them yet, but I practice harder than I play, so if they hold up to hours and hours of rudiments, rim shots and cymbal crashing, they should do fine in a gig. And they last longer than hickory. I'll have to get a few more pairs...

I like the expected durability. I've used the Vic Firth version. That run about $50 retail. These sticks are much more affordable. Arrived in a timely manner.I may just by some for my drummer friends.

I purchased four of these and broke the tip off of one in the middle of a practice. I thought they'd last a lot longer but I'll be moving back to wood sticks.

A little slippery but I just rub a candle on the upper part of the stick and that solves the problem.

My son loves them and he is hard on sticks. Worth the extra money and you don't need to worry about them breaking during a gig.

Hold up really well.

Broke during session number 2 after Christmas. There's a reason these carbon sticks are half the cost of others apparently. Hoped they'd last longer.
