Scotch Felt Pads, 24 Pcs, 0.5" Round Pads, Green, Self-Adhesive, Ideal for Use on Furniture, Lamps and Décor That Sit on Finished Surfaces, Easy to Apply (SP852-NA)

I purchased these to replace the hard plastic guides that were mounted beneath the legs of my dining room chairs, as these were to be used on a luxury vinyl (faux-marble) floor. The "carpet/fabric" cushions on the underside of these glides allows good unabrasive movement of our chairs on the vinyl floor. Installation (by simply hammering the glides into the bottom of each leg) was quite simple.

I accidentally bought a smaller size than I needed so used two on each leg. This worked fine. So far (4months) they have stayed on unlike other I have used in the past. My floor no longer get marks from my kid or guest sliding the chairs rather than lifting them.

We just refinished our oak hardwood floors and bought heavy rustic log furniture and bar stools, and these have great adhesive and steong felt protection for your wood floors. Great quality and fair price.

Certainly not for chair bottoms but as a cushion for the lid of the blanket chest I made they are perfect. They are thin but that is fine for my application

Admittedly these chairs are tough, but these pads were not up to the task. These are heavy wooden chairs with metal glides/stoppers on the bottom, and they are on a rough tile floor. The hard metal and tile and the weight involved instantly shredded these to oblivion and they came right off. I do not recommend for this or a similar use case.

These are great to place on the bottoms of decorative pieces or lamps that are set on your furniture. They have one sticky side & one felt side & are flexible so they will mold around curves & ridges. They aren’t designed for anything you wash or emerse often, just those things you dust. It will take at least 3 & usually 4 on the bottom of items or however number to allow the item to sit level. These are about 3/8” in diameter.

The package shown and the description say these are 1 1/4" glides. They are 1" glides. I wrote the supplier, notified them and asked they fix the page. I haven't heard anything back yet. So no I am writing a review. The glides work great. So as long as you actually want 1" wide glides, these will work for you.
