Lens is fine but the packaging leaves a little to be desired
The initial impression of the packaging had me worried because the lens is in a plastic case with foam on top and bottom but the lens is free to slide around and so I heard a 'clack clack' when handling the package and trying to open the case. That had me worried that it might already be scratched but it turns out it was okay. I'll report back on the lens itself after I get a chance to install and test.

Update: I finally got two photos engraved on wood, but still not the results I hoped for!
Update:Only works when I took the nozzle off, as its focal point is even shorter than 1.5”!I got one job of two photos done, and now ordering a different lens!Old post:I've been running my business using Omtech and CloudRay lenses since day one. This lens is hard to get sharp focused results! I took the nozzle apart at least 5 to 6 times to make sure nothing was wrong. I even aligned the head and two mirrors. I can’t those positive reviews experiences by any means.Lesson learned, after wasting a lot of time ... I'll stick to different lenses till proven wrong!

worked great for about 3 weeks.
I was very pleased with the initial performance of this lens, which I'm using with a 40 watt Omtech K40 laser. Unfortunately it quickly developed a large discolored spot in the middle of the lens, which is steadily weakening it's cutting poser. I am / have not used the lens at extreme power settings. Typically running at about 5 - 40% power on the k40. The price is right, but the longevity and performance leaves much to be desired.
