Light-weight, Smooth Writer, Great Fountain Pen
This was my very first fountain pen, and it did not disappoint. I use Black Pilot Namiki cartridges with this fountain pen, and even when I store this pen nib up it writes immediately upon putting nib to paper. The writing experience is very smooth, and I would say there is no feedback at all, the steel Pilot nib just glides smoothly across my Midori MD pages. The pen features a pink translucent barrel and cap. There are holes in the cap to as a choking hazard measurement, I assume—I do not mind them. I especially enjoy the cute engraving on the nib depicting a face with a bow—I like bows a lot. The family series of Kaküno pens is great—if you're on the fence about getting one... Get one! I do not regret my purchase, so I can only hope the best for yours also.

Cute
I got this because I already love the Kaküno and I wanted to be sure I got the pink one so I wouldn’t have regrets. If you’ve already got a kaküno, maybe you don’t need this? But if you haven’t tried this pen, it’s pretty cool. It writes really well, is sleek looking, with no bits sticking. Just a really simple pen.One caveat- pilot makes their own cartridges. And I never tried a converter for this, but I looked around and none of them looked promising. I like their ink, and it’s reasonable. But this isn’t a pen to experiment with ink. This is just a basic cartridge fountain pen.

Easy writing
I wasn’t looking for an artist pen, but I did want a handy fountain pen for everyday uses. I’ve find myself reaching for this more frequently than not. I’ve used it when outside in a hot and humid environment and it’s been great.

Entry level fountain pen that is comfortable, easy to work with, and priced perfect.
I really love these pens. I have one for all the primary ink colors (black, blue, red). If you want a more ecologically friendly pen that is a pleasure to write with, this is a good place to start.

So cute!
I had no idea that the Kakuno family line existed until I saw a photo of this adorable pink demonstrator online. I own most of the steel nibbed Pilots but didn't like any of the Kakuno colors until I saw this one. It writes great, just as you'd expect from a Pilot fountain pen. And is quite the deal at $12.

What a wonderful little pen
I know they say this is a good first pen, but I just love it and I bought my husband a clear one. Everyone I know in the fountain pen community still has their kakuno’s!

Smooth nib!
Feels really nice to hold. For people who like some feedback on the nib this isn't it. Writing with the nib is smooth. Not a lot of pressure is needed to produce lines. Begginer friendly if you want to try fountain pens.
