good value
I use it on a safety rope while working on a roof. It is probably okay for rock climbing. I would not use this for glacier or mountain climbing as the mechanism is prone to hanging up on a snowy or icy rope.

Well made
As a general contractor I find myself sheeting roofs quite often and I've always used in normal ascender as a safety on my line. This works much better, as you can move freely without having to adjust the Rope until you slip and it automatically grab for you. Well made, easy on off.

Much cheaper then the other models and they are doing the same job.

Needed refabrication
I bought it to be safe on the roof. It seems with pressure on the hook it is almost in the release position. I had to refabricate it weld a piece on the bottom with another hook. Now it’s safer and won’t release on me.
