Can this be used on regular AC units? Our outdoor unit is dripping and staining our patio, so we'd like to divert the water off the side of the patio.

I had the same problem and the way this is shaped is like a funnel. So it makes it the right size for any AC. The included tube diverts the water away. You would have to measure how far you want the water to drain too to get the right size tubing.

What size tubing fits this?

Hello, there are options to purchase the tubing along with the magnetic drain adapter in 5ft, 10ft, 20ft and 30ft lengths that will save you time and money from buying tubing separately at a store. However, if you choose the "Magnetic Drain Adapter Only" option then the tubing size required is 1/4" ID x 3/8" OD. Also, please note- I have a brand new larger version available by request (to be listed on Amazon soon) that has even larger stronger magnets (ridiculously strong) and a larger adapter opening with tubing that is 3/8" ID x 1/2" OD. Do all air conditioners have the water drip hole on the bottom to accomodate this?

No- not all air conditioners have a drip hole but the great thing about my patent pending magnetic drain kit is that even if you do not have a drain hole and your AC has an area where condensation is building up and dripping from (on the bottom, side or edge) you can use my product to catch the drips and drain to wherever you like. The magnets are so strong that you could even attach the adapter on the edge of the base of your air conditioner using two of the 3 magnets and it will hold strong and help solve your dripping AC problems!

Stop AC drips too close to the house

My Midea window AC was dripping water too close to the window sill and the wall causing issues. Tried to find original Media parts for a drip diverter was impossible. Adapters at a local store would not work properly. This product is genius! So simple and effective. It took less than a minute to install. This should work with just about any window AC as long as it is made of metal and the surface around the water hole is flat and unobstructed, so the magnets work properly. No more drip problems. If the hose isn't long enough, just use a PVC pipe as an extension sleeve.

The owner is hands on with questions and product support. Will go the extra mile to ensure customer is 100% satisfied. Havnt installed product, but it looks sturdy and up to the task. Ingenious!!

I don’t write a lot of reviews but this gadget turned out to be such a fantastic solution for my window unit dripping onto my wooden cellar door; I was frustrated at having to either dump a bucket of water every day or rotting my wooden door. It's okay

'I was really excited to get this item in order to keep water away from the house foundation. I can't say it works the best. It is easy to install, just put it up to the drain hole and the magnets hold it in place with no problem. I live in a very high humidity area, and it often can't keep up with the moisture being pulled from my home. For the money, it's just okay.
