First time user
This is the first try and I’m impressed . I didn’t attach this to my work bench yet as my work bench is not in place yet so it was a little difficult as you need it to be mounted to get the leverage you need. You can also place the bender in a vice . I think this is going to be a great addition to my jewelry making tools. I’m happy to say it was fairly easy to use even without it being mounted properly. I was using a softer metal. Stronger metals will defiantly need to be mounted. If you’re looking for an affordable bender this one seems to get the job done and had some pretty decent reviews and is why i chose it for the price and so far I’m impressed . I was able to make a few bends and i have never used a bender before.

Decent
Works well for what it is, not extremely high quality but I’m a novice jewelry maker in my garage so it does what I need.

It broke within the first day, went downhill from there
This is a piece of junk. I feel bad saying that because I’m sure the people who run this company are decent people and didn’t intend to make a faulty product. But this product is not made well. The black round knob on the handle broke within the first day of using it. The next day the white vinyl piece that actually shapes the spoon into the round ring shape broke so now I can’t even shape the spoons to make them round. The bolts that go up into the base of the metal bender to hold it down came loose and one bolt actually broke in half. I’m not the type of person to ever write reviews and this is my first time writing a bad review. But this thing is not worth the almost $100. I’m telling you as I would advise my friends - don’t buy this! Don’t waste your money. It will break. It’s not a matter of IF but WHEN. I haven’t contacted the company yet so I might change my review if they respond promptly and make it right, but not a good impression so far.

Decent Quality for Beginners, But Has Limitations
As a novice jewelry maker, I wanted an affordable ring bender to experiment with before committing to a more expensive tool. This one does the job, but with a few caveats. ✅ Beginner-Friendly – If you’re just starting out, this is a great budget-friendly option to practice with. It works well for basic projects and simple ring designs. ⚠️ Limitations on Thickness – If you’re making spoon rings, keep in mind that this machine struggles with thicker materials. It’s best suited for thinner metals; anything too thick requires significant effort and may not bend smoothly. 🤔 Plastic Mandrel? – My biggest gripe is that the ring sizing mandrel is plastic. A metal one would have been more durable and precise, especially for long-term use. Overall, this is a decent tool for beginners but may not be ideal for heavy-duty or professional work. If you're planning to bend thicker metals or need precise sizing, you might want to invest in a higher-end model.

Good
Very good product im in love. However one thing is if your making spoon rings they need to be thin the machine really can’t handle too much thickness other than that super easy to use and very happy with the quality!

Heavy metal
I have often wonder how rings were made. I have never seen a ring bender tool before. Intriguing. The heaviest piece of the kit is the actual bending tool. It is about 7 inches long but feels as heavy as an anvil. The description does not say what kind of metal the tool and the square carrying base is but I surmise that it is cast iron. It feels like it and is very strong. The sizes of the white nylon dies are 12,14,16,18,20,22, as are the matching metal posts. There are three other metal posts, 60 and 90 degree sizes and a small diamond shape. There are also 6 white nylon dies that have no markings on them. Included with the tool kit is the ring sizer belt, ring sizer rings, and a ring mandrel, with gauge, all made in plastic. It has screws, bolts, and two different sizes of allen wrenches. The ring bender must be screwed in a wooden board, on a wooden workbench, or gripped with a vise (watch the website video) as it needs to be totally stationary while working with it. I have never used one of these and it will take me awhile to learn how to use it, though after watching the video (as I suggested) it all made sense to me. I recommend this ring bending kit for anyone wanting to make rings or other soft metal shapes for jewelry making.
