It monitors the air quality for carbon dioxide, temperature and relative humidity.
This is a really great air quality monitor! I love the design, it looks really sleek and modern. The quality is really good too, it feels like a well-made product. It's great that it can monitor carbon dioxide, temperature and relative humidity. It's definitely a must-have product for your home if you want to live a healthy life.

Non practical and function only for few days
1: Temperature reading is not accurate at all if you keep it plugged in with the charger, it increases at lest 4 to 5 C, properly because the battery heats up. 2: if you don’t keep it connected to the charger it work for a day and half maximum. 3: It worked for the first week and then the CO2 sensor stop working, unless you blow next to the sensor. 4: it’s mass production in chain and each seller add his own branding. 5: don’t west your money, you better buy something from trusted brand and actually work even if you pay more. 6: Never again

The product name mentions "Air Quality Monitor (AQI)" but this device only measures CO2 levels. It does NOT monitor AQI parameters like PM2.5, PM10, or VOC. Please note this is just a CO2 detector, not a complete air quality monitor. Seller should correct the product title and description.

I've wanted to test the air quality of my living space for a while and this device does just that. It's simple to use, can be calibrated to your outdoor air quality to increase accuracy. I discovered that my home is a bit too sealed up and could benefit from some air exchange! High levels of CO2 can lead to brain fog, sleepiness, and general listlessness. CO2 levels are detected in ppm or Parts Per Million. The higher the CO2, the less oxygen you're breathing, hence, the lower air quality. Levels under 700ppm are considered good. Outdoor air quality, depending on your location will be around 400+. You can also set an alarm level which will sound when it passes the set threshold. This is a very useful device for quickly testing the local air quality. I've tested the air in my basement, bedroom, car, office, among other locations. Rechargeable and cordless, it's very convenient to use. Backlit display can be turned off when testing at night while sleeping, and to conserve battery power. In addition to CO2 ppm, it also displays temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit, and humidity. I have literally been carrying this thing around with me to test the air quality wherever I go! It's pretty amazing. There is a slight delay when you turn it on but it seems fairly accurate, although the only way to truly test the accuracy would be to have an alternative and trusted device for comparison. If you are curious and scientifically minded, you'll find it a useful, intriguing, and reasonably priced tool for testing, indoors or outdoors. I can't recommend this enough.

When I first received this CO2 monitor I was impressed with the packaging. The quality of the packaging was similar to what you would expect with high end electronics. It came with the usb cable needed to plug it in but you have to use your own USB adapter, which I’m sure most people have plenty of. Once I let it charge I followed the steps to calibrate it, which was easy to do. I have no other way to check my CO2 levels but I will say that after calibration I trust it. The temperature and humidity readings match the values listed on my homes thermostat. If I stand near the unit the CO2 raises, if I pick it up and breath into the unit the CO2 level goes really really high, when I took it outside the reading dropped, and after I’ve been away from home all day the reading is lower. All of those are exactly what you would expect it to do. It only has a few buttons for the basic functions of turning the alarm on and off, changing the temp scale from Celsius to Fahrenheit, turning the unit on/off, and turning the backlight off. My only critiques about the unit is that just off of the battery it will only last about 24 hours with the backlight always on, so if you plan to always leave it on to measure CO2 it will need to be plugged in, or charged daily. The backlight is pretty bright, which is great in a well lit area but it’s a little to bright IMO in a dark room. Overall if you need to know your CO2 levels (I was trying to decide if I should add a HRV to my homes HVAC) then this unit is easy to setup and the CO2 level is incredibly easy to read. It worked perfectly for my needs.

Batter is chargeable but drains quickly. Pain to recharge frequently.
