No need for Venting pipes through the roof anymore
These vents are a true gift if you add another sink or additional plumbing where venting is needed but you do not want to cut holes through your roof to run a vent pipe. The Studor Mini-Vent is the answer for venting right under your sink without cutting or dreading to put a vent pipe through your ceiling, attic and through your roof. They have a shut off valve so no sewer gases can seep through. If I could I would give it more than 5 stars.

Performs its function admirably.
Our bathtub p-trap used to empty out whenever we flushed the toilet, leaking sewage gases into the bathroom. I installed this Mini-Vent between the toilet and the bathtub, 3" horizontal to 2" vertical, and it solved our problem.

This Product Works
We had an indoor vent for the washing machine drain that would cause horrible odours when the water drained into the laundry sink. Saw this used on This Old House in a similar situation and decided to give it a try. Works perfectly, odours gone immediately. A bit more expensive than others but well worth it.
