I searched for this pitcher after using my mom's (with a blue lid) when I visited. The glass is heavy duty and sturdy. I wanted glass cause it's easier to clean and doesn't stain. The lid is shaped like the pitcher in a oxtagon so it's secure (doesn't fall out). Airtight?! No, but Whose turning any pitcher upside down when it's full of liquid? (What are these reviewers looking for?!) Walmart and other retailers are charging $27 dollars for this exact pitcher so this is a great deal at less then $10! While I would've liked a blue top (like my mom's) for this price I'll deal. Want a functional pitcher, get it!

I like the glass jar except the lid arrived broken, I can’t return it because I’m afraid that the jar might brake during the shipping.process.

I picked this up to brew iced tea in. I thought the neon green would be kind of ugly, but the price was right. Turns out the green isn't bad looking at all, since I didn't fill it with green cool-aid like the artwork on here does. In fact, my mom said "nice pitcher" the first time she saw it. I ended up brewing my iced tea in a large pyrex measuring cup then pouring it into this after it cooled down, so no idea how it holds up if you put boiling water into it, but it works well as a pitcher. Would be 5-stars if the cover was slightly sturdier and a less "bold" color.

Perfect size! I wanted a pitcher that wasn't big for infused water. I don't have to worry about it being too heavy for my 11 yr old to help herself. Will also be great for a batch of margarita LOL

I was looking for a glass pitcher for Crystal Light - this one fits the bill, it is short enough to stand up in my fridge (I've had bad experiences with the ones that I have to lay on their sides - always leak and make a huge mess), and wide enough not to topple over. But the plastic lid is TERRIBLE! There is no way of closing it so that the pitcher is sealed (look at the photo, and see the way that the lid is designed, with no solid plastic portion sticking down into the jug). So if I don't keep the jug full, so it's heavy enough not to be accidentally tipped over in the fridge, there is always the risk of a mess. The pros - the size and sturdiness of the glass portion, and the fact that it's glass not plastic/acrylic. The cons - the lid is completely flimsy and useless. I'm trying to find a rubber stopper or plug that I can use in its place, to seal the jug and prevent spills.

sturdy glass, dropped twice on a cement tile floor and it didn't break. Great quality.

I really like the quality of this pitcher. So nice to actually have a glass juice jug. Seems safer and colours can’t embed into plastic etc. It’s very easy to wash, rinse or put into dishwasher. Wish it were double it’s size as I have a teenager but nonetheless one of the best I’ve owned. Also looks really pretty on a spring or summer table setting.

Came in broken, in the box. With shattered pieces of glass all over. It was a mess to clean after we opened the box.
