I purchased this fabric to make a Regency Era chemise and petticoat. This is heavier than I was expecting, but still thin enough for my use. It is slightly thinner than flour sack towels, but thicker than cheesecloth. I pre-washed the fabric, without serging the edges and was pleasantly surprised that it frayed only a little. I've had quilting cotton that fell apart easier! I will definitely order more.
