Special tool time. Had to buy these to get those special German clips round the rubber seal that connected to tie rod ends on an e46 BMW. Adequate for the amount of work that I will do now and in the future. Probably a bit flimsy for a proper mechanic.

This product worked very well in loosening hose clamps for a honda fit. They are actually prerty solidly built. The only improvement I could suggest would be a locking feature to hold them shut without the user having to apply continual pressure, causing one to work with one hand while holding these with the other.

It took a little while for me to figure out how to use it. (And I was afraid I had bought something that did not work well.) But, once I got it figured out, this thing works great. Love it.
