Great speakerphone that's also great for listening to music in the office
I just love this device! I had two different needs that various "bluetooth speakers" try to address: speakerphone and music. I first considered devices more aimed at music - like the JBL Charge, but their speakerphone performance isn't as good as this, they're bulkier, and they generally use a separate charger/usb-cable. I also tried having two separate devices like a Jabra Speak 510 for calls and another bluetooth speaker for music, but that just makes things messy and complicated. Finally, I tried the 710 (this device) and it meets both my needs really well. Call quality is fantastic and music sounds really good with respectable bass. It's not a bass-shaker, but it's plenty for me to occasionally rock-out in my office :) And plenty loud for multimedia presentations in a meeting room. It's also extremely convenient and easy to use. * It has a permanently attached USB cable that stores neatly around the base and can be used to charge the device while you're using it. * The battery lasts a long time between charges. * Easy to use in that the touch controls around the edge are very intuitive and responsive. * The built-in kick-stand is actually useful for projecting the sound further in a particular direction, like towards an audience. I haven't had to use the included USB bluetooth dongle, but nice to know it's there. All around, it's a great device that does everything it advertises to do, does them well, and looks good too!

Terrific for my innumerable Zoom meetings, but pricey
Once the remote working situation began in earnest, I began getting too many complaints from using the default microphone and speakers on my laptop, so I began researching a better microphone/speaker setup. I began the research thinking that headsets were going to be the only thing that would work for good sound, but I was really reluctant to spend the day wearing a headset. Further, there are some Zoom calls where my entire family will interact with people on the other end, so a headset would not have been ideal there. I ended up going with this Jabra 710, and it has been just wonderful over the past couple of weeks. It was very easy to setup (less than a minute to connect it via Bluetooth and begin using), easy to customize with the desktop software, and just really simple to use. There are easy touch controls around the dial, and they are very responsive when I increase/decrease volume or go on mute, and the lights very intuitively convey remaining on/off, battery life, sound levels, and mute status without issue. The Bluetooth has never dropped, though note that it is placed pretty close to the laptop. It has decent sound for calls. While certainly not concert worthy like my B&Ws, it is fine for background music and Youtuve videos, and great for voice. I am generally in a bedroom all day, with not a lot of background noise. I also keep this plugged in most of the time since I use it at my desk, though when testing the battery life was about a day and a half of work and I am in meetings nearly all day. I just keep it plugged in because I wanted to skip unplugging it and plugging it back in (especially when I was not really moving it anywhere). Overall, highly recommend for meeting-centric uses. Wish it was a tad more affordable, but at the end of the day I am happy with my purchase because I am never fiddling around with call quality issues on meetings with customers and colleagues, and that is meaningful to me. You can probably get equivalent (or maybe better) with a headset, but then you are limited to one person at a time on your end, and you have to wear a headset a lot of the day if you are in many meetings, and that wasn't for me.

Amazing
This is probably the best purchase I’ve ever made to help me with working from home. This speaker clarity is great. The microphone works just as well. I’ve used this for several years and as well worth the money.

Great mic sensitivity
We had our first hybrid Sunday School class and I used a pair of the Jabra 710 units for our mics and speakers. I am VERY pleased with the result. The people on Zoom could hear everyone speak clearly and their voices came through very loud but sharp and clear. Everyone in the classroom was impressed. I connected them with Bluetooth and spaced them out in the center of the room. My only regret is that Jabra doesn't make it possible to daisy chain more than two of these at a time. We could use 4 or 6 of these for better coverage, but alas, two is all you can connect this way. The problem for us was not in picking up someone clearly from the farthest point in the room, but that the volume level was very low for those listening by Zoom. More Jabra 710's would help prevent that, but more than one set NOT daisy chained causes tremendous feedback and other audio problems.

Fantastic speakerphone and speaker (with BT connectivity and stand issue)
I upgraded from Jabra 410 to Jabra 710 and I have been using the 710 for over two years, for both online meetings and music listening on a daily basis. Fantastic voice quality in online meetings. Music sounds better than the macbook pro speaker but don't expect much bass. About a month ago I used Jabra Direct desktop application to upgrade its firmware from 1.33 to 1.38. Bluetooth connectivity went from solid to disconnecting multiple times a day, all in the middle of calls. It has been quite annoying. I would advise against updating the firmware if you don't have any issues with it. Another thing was that the stand spring mechanism started "dislocating" since a couple months ago. I have never dropped it and one day it just happened. It used to help bring the stand from close to open or vice versa. Now the spring inside might have dislocated. It wouldn't let the stand close completely, or it wouldn't force the stand the stay open. Other than that, it is still a fantastic speakerphone and speaker.

Bought this as an upgrade to my original jabra 510. What a difference in sound quality - and the change to Bluetooth is fab too. I'd highly recommend this if you're thinking about buying it. Its a lot of money - yes - but you really get what you pay for.
