ZLINE 48 in. Convertible Vent Wall Mount Range Hood in Stainless Steel (KL3-48)

I bought this as an open box item and therefore a reduced price, but it's a great hood regardless. The stainless construction is solid, with a clean contemporary appearance. The exhaust fan has multiple speeds, from a whisper to way more than you need, and it works great. Lights are a nice touch, and filters should be easy to clean. Could easily be dressed up with a hood cover or different finish as well. 5 stars.

This hood is great. It has a nice look to it and is very effective. I just applied three coat of seasoning to a new carbon steel wok, which generated a ton of smoke. This hood didn’t skip a beat. There was no smoke buil up in the kitchen.

Absolutely great Hood! I love it! I would give it five stars but mine came slightly damaged. Not enough for me to warrant it to be shipped back or anything. My guess is it happened in transit from FedEx or when they dropped it off

This product did require a new light kit very soon and one just before the three year warranty expired. However, when I contacted customer service on their website I got a call back the same day and they sent me a new light kit. The light kit did not work and they sent another... which installs easily and the second one worked. The light kits aren't the best... but the customer service is top of the line. I just cleaned the oil and grease off the range hood surface with paper towels and it looks like new. Great Product.

Installed in new home. In use for just over 10 months. Very effective and no issues and happy with this range hood. Update: March 2020, after lights blinked on and off, both lights no longer work. Saw on here might be transformer?

No, la recomiendo es muy mala calidad. En unos meses los botones de encendido se sumieron, se ensucia rápido y hace mucho ruido no vale el precio que tiene

Love the look and the finish. It is however very loud. The first one I received was damaged and had to be returned. Amazon got another one to me right away. Great hood just wish it wasn't so loud.

For some reason, the availability of indoor wall mounted range hoods at 48" wide is very limited. For the price I don't expect anything to fancy, just something that works. The first one I ordered arrived damaged at the corner. It was dented and buckled. The packaging seems in tact, so it did seem that it was packaged like it. So, I ordered another one, but this time the version that allows for venting indoors without going outside. So today it arrived and the other corner was damaged in exactly the same way. Dented and buckled.I managed to use a rubber hammer to bend it back in shape, but unfortunately as it's a shiny metal the light catches it and you can see where the damage was. I haven't installed it yet but having to keep returning and waiting for new extractor hoods is delaying my kitchen project now. So, I'll just have to live with it. Very disappointing level of QC from the manufacturer. I won't be ordering anything from Z Line again.
