Use at night for lower back pain.
Excellent product! I heat before bed, place under my lower back. Body heat keeps it warm until I get up. More safe, consistent warmth all night. Helps with lower back pain relief. On my second one. The first lasted over a year. Great value!

OK-Cureve is BETTER w/Cover.
This one is ok, CUREVE brand is MUCH cooler and LONGER lasting. This one is average. Cureve has better more durable fabric with softer edging, and has a great 2-cooling-options-cover. Cureve one gets skin COLD, which feels better on twisted ankle, but it must be moved from my sprained back in 12". This one is average, feels good on back for 30-40". Both sold on Amazon. COOL any/all GEL in FRIDGE before putting in FREEZER and it cools Megamuch faster & throughly, and stays longer. 1hr really is a game changer.

2 years and still going
Bought this over 2 years ago for my back and it is still in really great shape. We only use this as a cold pack but at that it excels. It covers a lot surface and it comes out of the freezer flexible and stays cold for a long time. My biggest fear was that the seem would split and leak. The edges still look like they will still hold for a long time to come.

Great, long-lasting cold
These are great for long-lasting cold, and have a nice surface. Fold in half before putting in the freezer for a greater duration of cold. Have not tried the heat application.

This ice pack is so awesome. I ordered it after receiving cold therapy after a Physical Therapy appointment. They used a large ice pack & I wanted one for home use. It is actually larger than the one used in PT. I simply LOVE it. I have a bad back, knee & hip. After exercise or activity I have severe pain radiating from the back & hip to the foot. This extra large ice pack covers such a big area that I don't have to constantly re freeze & reuse one each area. The gel remains frozen until I move it up & down all areas, reducing the times I move it from 6-8 times to only 4 times to cover all areas. I would highly recommend this to anyone with a large area to cover.

Hot Flash Relief
I started using this pad for hot flashes. Large area very cooling .i sleep with these cool off and fall back to sleep.Just pull to side and it re cools itself. Recently I have trouble with trigger finger and I’d lay my hand on it at night and help with pain. Yes I’ve bought this before and will buy again.

Great coolmat for pet
I've purchased pet coolmats and they always have a funny smell. I think it's to keep a dog from chewing on it, but the horrible smell never goes away. This coolmat works GREAT for my pug. I own two and put one in the fridge (not freezer) or on a cool surface like tile flooring while my dog uses the other to cool down. Once it reaches her body temperature, I swap them.Probably not a good idea to leave with a dog unattended, but that's not something I do (she's also not a chewer).

Excellent Ice Pack
I had my knee replaced 4 weeks ago and I wish I had had this Ice pack from the beginning. I was instructed to ice my knee for 20 minutes every other hour and I had an efficient but small ice pack to do the job. However I could only do one part of my knee at a time and it took a whole hour to do the 3 parts necessary. With this Ice pack I can do it all at once and it stays plenty cold for the 20 minutes needed. I highly recommend this Ice Pack to any one in need of cold therapy. I have not tried heat therapy so cannot speak to that.
