CD Album Box Set[10 CD]

This is a decent set of 10 CDs full of good ABBA music.My only complaint is that with the running times, they probably could have fit all the music on fewer discs thus reducing the carbon footprint of the product.I was completely satisfied by everything else with this set.

It’s the perfect item to get your ABBA fix. It contains all their albums from their first Ring Ring to their recentreturn Voyage with great sound quality, an attractive booklet with liner notes and photos, all packed in a sturdy case and box. A no-brainer for any music fan.

Not that I'm a huge ABBA fan but I liked all their albums and thought why not buy the entire box. Well, the mastering is fantastic, these albums never sounded better! Kudos to the engineer, these albums sound fantastic for that desire for Kitch pop music from way back when, you couldn't go wrong with this box. What an honest to goodness Suprise!

This isn't the first box set from ABBA and despite it including 2021's Voyage it still isn't complete. A few bonus tracks or stray non album tracks are missing. That said, this is a fairly complete collection. If you see it on sale I suggest picking it up as deals on box sets from the group don't stay deals for long. Note the costs for 2005's box set ABBA - THE COMPLETE STUDIO RECORDINGS, which quickly went out of print. This box is likely to do the same so get it while you can.

I didn't think I really needed this box set since I already have all the original studio albums on CD in the 2001 remastered digipaks with bonus tracks and booklets. But I like owning an artist's collected works in one box set, and after reading positive reports about the sound quality and looking at the insanely low price here on Amazon, I took the plunge, purely for the sake of having better sounding versions of these albums, while not expecting much in terms of packaging.I am pleasantly surprised! Not only is the remastering quality superior to early CD versions (though not without some flaws, as some reviewers have noted), but the packaging is far better than what I was expecting for the price. We all know the cheap clamshell outer box design with flimsy and cheaply printed CD jackets that seem to be all too common with affordably priced box sets these days. This is far better than that, with sturdy inner and outer boxes and very nice mini-LP sleeve replicas close to what you get with the expensive Japanese CD reissues of classic LP recordings. The booklet is printed on decent paper with appealing photos, and while there aren't extensive essays and track descriptions, it does include the important info, like original release dates, recording locations, session and musician credits. The tenth disc is more of an afterthought, with a small and questionable selection of key non-album tracks. Previous CD versions have come with more essential bonus tracks, but inferior sound quality (which after all is still the most important thing). Since I have all the essential non-album tracks on the deluxe ABBA Gold and Thank You For The Music collections, I can keep this new box and sell the previous reissue studio album editions I own on individual CDs.And the value here is unbeatable. Buy it now at this price while you can.
