How tall are these steps from the top step to where it sits on the pool bottom? I have a 48" deep pool.

The precise measurement from the bottom of the steps to the top step is 44 inches, so if you have a 48 inch deep pool the top step will be 4 inches below the water line which is perfect. There are adjustable connecting pieces which attaches the steps to your deck keeping the stairs in place however, you will need to fill the hollow portions of the stairs with sand to weigh the steps down otherwise they will have a tendency to float. Very easy to assemble. I would recommend a liner guard to put under the steps to protect your liner. They come in various sizes. So far, I haven't used the steps but they are very nice and worth every penny and I can already see that they are going to be much better than a vertical ladder. Good luck!!

Will this ladder work with a Hot Tub?

I would imagine it would be a large hot tub if it fits.

Can these steps be used on outside to get from ground to top of pool?

Yes if the height of the steps works, they are light weight but I would use them outside definitely

How do you vacuum under these?

With out taking the stairs out it’s impossible,but you can always have someone lift up the stairs so you can vacuum under them
