I am an older lady with fine thin hair and I tell you what I have never found a shampoo like this. it smells good because argan oil smells good anyway and when you put it on it just feels like it has a little sense to it, but not too often. much so that you know it's color safe but when you rinse that stuff out it when you rinse it out that is like a conditioner and just your hair. your fingers slip right through it even though it's shampoo. I've never seen anything like it and it rinses clean so you know your hair is clean but it just feels so much like almost light conditioner in your hair when you're rinsing it out because it rinses out like condition. I almost did not use conditioner. I have not tried this brand of conditioner but I'm going to right now cuz this shampoo amazed me it really did. it made my hair. that's the way I like it after I dry after it air dried. I don't dry my hair with a blow dryer after my hair air dried. my little waves sat right there on my shoulders like I like so I did not weigh my hair down and it was just beautiful. I just use it slightly bit of a different kind of conditioner. lesser expensive conditioner unless they're expensive conditioner. anyway, I haven't tried the conditioner yet but I will. but I am telling you this shampoo is amazing. I will buy again

I got this shampoo because 2 natural hair YouTubers (Kimberly Cherrell and Shanique Buntyn) recommended it, but YouTubers recommend things all the time, but I gave it a try. Kimberly said that its the only shampoo that she's used that doesn't strip your hair but also clarifies it and she was right! The smell was great so that was a plus but in general, it didn't strip my hair or made it feel wet and tangled. Even though I did a pre-poo, it still was amazing. I think this will be one of my holy grail products that will be used in my later wash days. What I really love about it was also that I was scared and also happy at the same time because it is a sulfate-free shampoo and along my transitioning journey I realized that sulfates don't just work with my hair well (even Aussie's shampoo which ppl love). I also had this weird misconception that sulfates don't clarify but this product made my scalp feel clean and new! I ordered the smaller bottle because I didn't want to risk purchasing a bigger one, but this bottle works fine! I do recommend working in sections because you do want your hair to be clarified. I usually wash my hair in twists but it's better to unloosen them and after washing the product out then you can twist it back up. You'll love it and it's not a very fancy product or anything and plus it's affordable :) (please note that this worked for my hair. The thing about hair is that what works for me may not work for you but good luck xx)

Good on ethnic hair

You can really feel the benefits after each use. Beside shampooing, I also use it in Epsom salt baths and it really improves your skin softness each counteracts Epsom salt skin dryness. This is the best one I’ve tried so far and really like it. Also great for shampooing as you can tell the difference after each use.

I was using a protein-heavy keratin shampoo for a long time, and needed some MOISTURE bc I wanted to revive my curls and this shampoo is perfect. it's Golden and smells amazing and sulfate-free, which is essential. Great value!

SHAMPOO: heavy chemical smell / very moisturizing CONDITIONER: Smells nicer than the shampoo / made my hair feel soft, but also made my hair super frizzy After searching for products to use on my thick/curly/mixed race hair (I'm guessing type 3B), I found Creme of Nature brought up by a few different bloggers and users. The shampoo felt very moisturizing and lathers very well for a sulfate-free shampoo. I really liked the way my hair felt after I used it. My only complaint about the shampoo is that is has a very heavy chemical smell. It reminded me of what hair smells like right after using at-home / boxed hair dye. The conditioner had a tiny hint of that smell, but it was not as strong as the shampoo. It smelled a little sweeter and it did overpower the overall chemical smell of the shampoo. The conditioner actually smelled nice, and after my hair was done, I did like the smell. It smelled nice and clean. I applied conditioner and then combed out my hair with a wide-toothed comb. I was a little worried at this point because my hair seemed more tangled than usual. This conditioner did not allow a lot of "slip" when it came to combing out my hair. Since I do not have access to an overhead heater (as recommended in the directions), I put my hair in a processing cap and then applied heat via a blow dryer for 10 to 15 minutes. I rinsed and then allowed my hair to air dry. I love how soft my hair feels and how nicely my curls formed, but my hair was pretty frizzy. Well, super frizzy. I dampened my hair again and added coconut oil, and that did the trick. It is irritating though, because I co-wash often with just about any conditioner I can find and I don't usually have this much frizz. The next day, my hair felt really dry and crunchy. I liked the shampoo but I am hesitant to use the conditioner again. I will try it again in a week or so since it is an "intensive treatment". I doubt I would buy the conditioner again. Update: Tried the conditioner again. Was not impressed. Threw it out and went with another brand instead.

Not drying very good

This is a good shampoo and definitely worth it. I love the thick consistency; it is so rich and luxurious, and a little goes a long way. It cleans my hair thoroughly without leaving it stripped or too dry. I also found my hair was soft and manageable and had a nice shine after washing. Overall good shampoo that does what it is supposed to do. Would buy again. Moisture and shine.

Been using this for decades - same product and brand, every few years they change its name or label. Clean hair, smells nice and not *as* full of crap as other brands. I have 4c long hair and my daughter has CauBlAsian so she has my textured hair but straighter. Works great.
