Earth BalanceCoconut and Peanut Butter Spread, Creamy, 16 Ounce (Pack of 12)

This wonderful product has a touch of coconut flavor in it, yet is low sugar which I need. Happy to find it available this way for less than I ever found it locally--and only a few times even found it at all locally!

IF you love peanut butter [ and anyone NOT allergic to it must ] ,then you just have to LOVE coconut and peanut butter combined.It is as close to a drug as I need to get !.It is great on bread,apples,crackers,burgers,spoons,butter knives,hell spread it on the table and I might eat that too.

This peanut butter is very fun and delicious to work with for desserts. I like to make frosting with it by whipping it with powdered sugar! I also make homemade peanut butter cups with it. It has a distinct hint of coconut which is why I've used it almost exclusively in desserts and baking. On a sandwich, it's just a tad odd unless you're a coconut fanatic! I gave it 4 stars because I'm hoping Earth Balance will eventually use enough organic ingredients to be certified like they did with their buttery spreads.

We love this natural pb. Its shelf stable and is still sold at out local food coop, Which has super high standards so we know that its a good quality product. Buying in bulk on amazon cuts on cost

Finding sugar free peanut butter that stays blended has been a challenge since 50/50 disappeared. I like coconut flavor, so I gave this a try. IMO, the coconut flavor is so strong that the peanut flavor is overwhelmed. I also added salt for a little more flavor. But the reason for the two stars was the very unexpected digestive effects this product had on my usually cast iron stomach. To say this product has a laxative effect is a huge understatement. I take it from other reviews that this is not common, but I have tried this product on three separate occasions, and the unfortunate results were consistently terrible. I am going to assume that I cannot tolerate the coconut oil, as I have never had digestive issues with any peanut butter. So, I plan on trying the Earth Balance regular sugar free peanut butter. My only warning to those trying this product for the first time would be to consume a small amount the first time, and only in a location not too far away from a bathroom.

This was an Oprah recommendation but did not live up to the hype. It was very similar to regular peanut butter and you would get the same effect by just adding a bit of coconut extract. Tasty but not really worth the effort of ordering a case.

Since I've started this peanut butter, I can't go back to regular pb without coconut oil! It is delicious! Beware, you'll get hooked!
