Brilliant until it broke
I have had this for about 6 months and it has been wonderful, definitely worth the slightly more pricey cost. Unfortunately, I have managed to break one of the grabber sides off. I have a feeling it's because once or twice I've leant on it, a bit like a walking stick. I am going to try gluing it, because I don't tend to pick anything really geavy up with it But I am going to buy another, and not be such a silly person with it! It's amazing for closing my curtains from my armchair. I'm disabled, and my curtain rail is really high. So even if i could stand, it's high up anyway, and I'm short. So I use the extra reach of the 40" grabber to be able to pull the curtains at the top and make them fully closed. Sometimes picking things up can be a bit tricky when it comes to putting it into my hand, just because the 40" is slightly too long. I migjt try the 36", so I've still got loads of reach, but have a tiny bit less to argue with when trying to put an item into my hand from it. I would say it definitely holds a lot more weight than my cheaper grabbers. I haven't overly tested it, but I have picked up a full 500ml brown glass liquid medicine bottle with it, and they're pretty heavy and a tricky shape/texture for grip. The grabber "fingers" have lots of grippy bumps. My guinea pigs have munched on them slightly, unfortunately. I do use it to help guide them home/away from wherever they are without having to get down on the floor with them and scoot around. It's also great for helping to clean out their cages as i can reach across to straighten blankets and what not. I find the locks on the folding sections to be very sturdy. I don't tend to fold it up, as I'm using it all the time, but they don't give way like some cheaper ones. It has the changeable angle for the gripper bit, so it can be inline or perpendicular to the handle. The handle is easy to hold (I have fairly small hands), and isn't stiff or difficult in anyway (my hands can be a bit hard to use). I often find myself using this in various places in my house. I have 1 cheap one in my bedroom for my curtains in there, but I will be replacing that, too, eventually. Fully converted tk the EzPick grabbers! Totally worth the money, especially if you can get it on sale.

A very sturdy litter picker.
I have recently had a new hip, and the litter picker has been invaluable to me as I can’t bend down. I have used it to help me get dressed, picking and put down things on the floor. It’s very sturdy and will pick a china plate up but fantastic for very small things too, like me dropping my tablets. It’s easy to keep clean and folds away beautifully. I’d give it more than 5* if I could.

Seems a good quality, long Grabber & it folds up....
Chose this Grabber, as mine got somewhat damaged. Firstly liked the fact it folded up. Then I was surprised how long it was, as I'm tall, I hadn't been aware one my other ones was fairly short. So I was interested to see how it would be, then I had the most unexpected reason to use it: I literally dropped a tub of tiny Vitamins all over the floor in the kitchen! I had to pick exactly 50 capsules up, one by one! Boy was I glad I had this longer grabber. So far so good.

At last something of a longer length in the grabber variety
At last something that's longer than a yard long & folds for transporting them with you. I don't bend much & trying to get something off of the floor is basically highly painful and hell as well. Many grabbers are short but those that are longer either dont fold or only fold in half, this pair of grabbers are much longer & fold in 2 places making their transportation easy & they don't take up a lot of space either, nor do you need a special bag or need to rig up a special way to safely attach it to your wheelchair so you don't loose it on route. A pair is brilliant now one can stay upstairs or you can have one each. The only thing I was disappointed about it that the grabber head is fixed, it would be so much more versatile if it could be moved so the arms can change the angle that their horizontal level to that of the handle could be altered so anything could be held & moved in any position to safeguard the contents of what is being carried. The cost is good especially for 2 of the 3 folding types. the joints are plastic as are the folding, hinged locking sections. The Jaws have no slip inner edges to them that might be rubber, they are grippy and gentle on what it has hold of. They can be locked open or shut which is essential if you can't manage to maintain your grip for long, they have tried to cover every eventuality that you may need these clever longer pucker upperers to help you to do so that you can try to maintain your independence & dignity for as long as possible. They may be intended for picking up litter, but to a disabled person with little ability to bend these will allow the person to help themself and free up the carer and give the disabled person a bit of pride back because they can now do a bit more without someone else's help.

Great grabber
Awesome grabber. Really helpful for recovery after surgery when you can't bend. Good quality and doesn't feel like it'll break lifting a toothpick.

Fantastica
Recomendable 100%
