The term whopper can be used to describe a lie, usually of epic proportion. And thats what whoppers are, the chocolate ones that is. Those are terrible lies. They look like maltesers, they are sort of like maltesers. But they are not even close. Not even a shadow of the glory that is maltesers. Anyone from the UK can tell you dont believe the lie. It's basically chocolate wrapped around malt and it's glorious. I recommend the party bucket where you become the party unto yourself. My only complaint is the cost. I suspect these are priced a wee bit higher than they should be.

This is awesome!!! Since it is summer, they even packaged with ice and sent to me!!! I'm so impressed, can't believe they actually put that much ice, as well as a blanket around it to keep it cool in the hot weather. And the taste is absolutely great! same taste as I remembered as a child. I would definitely buy it again: D

Awful Genetically modified ingredients
I grew up on these in the UK. First off, these are manufactured in the USA so not the same flavour. However, I threw them out because of the genetically modified label which Amazon conveniently conceals. See my photo. Do not buy these if you want the original UK flavour. You will be disappointed not to mention the genetically engineered products that are used here in the USA. The UK does not allow products containing any genetically modified ingredidents. It is one of the few EU laws that are good for you!!!

The quality of the chocolate covering is good and the malted filling is great. I would not h=esitate to purchase them again and will recommend them to both my family and friends.

Love that you can get them here in the US
For perfect gift for your Malteser's fan that you can purchase here in the US and not have to wait to get them from UK. We have a friend that tried them in England and loved them. It's nice that we can get his favorite candy and not have to wait for it to be shipped from overseas. The candy tastes just as good as it did in England.
