I use this both for my lower back muscles and for my neck and shoulder muscles. The unit pops into 2 halves: the part with the ball you massage yourself against and the base with the suction cup. In order to suction the base to your wall, you have to pop off the ball part (it slides off in 1 direction) and then you can use the lever to suction the base. The top (ball) half slides on and snaps in place but its there by friction alone. Depending on how you need to wiggle your body for the massage you can accidentally push the ball off the base. It can reliably stay on provided you are careful in placing the base. Place it in a direction that your body will move with, and you're guaranteed to push that ball half off. Place it in a different direction and the ball half will stay. It's all made of plastic so its possible for it to chip if it drops on the floor.I fully expect that repeated usage, removing and replacing the top half to attach the base, will wear down the tightness of the groves that the top half must slide into (its all plastic and it will wear). The more it wears, the easier for you to accidentally push the ball part off the base during the massage. So far that hasn't happened (1 month approx ownership) but it will. For the price, it's not too bad.

My husband had neck, shoulder, arm surgery and when insurance wouldn’t cover more physical therapy that he needed, we just bought items he was using at the center and worked out at home. This was practically the exact item as the one at the PT clinic and did the job. I even use it! Works great and does the job,

I have tried everything to get this to suction to something. I have tried several mirrors. I also tried my glass top oven so that it wouldn't be vertical. I tried putting water on the suction cup. I have cleaned it. It still won't suction. I have followed EVERY direction over and over again. I have watched videos to see if there is something I am doing wrong. I have Googled to get tips on how to get it to suction. I reached out to the seller and have not heard back. They did respond the first time, but did not read my problem, and just sent me all the same instructions that are included with the device again. I told them it still didn't work about a week ago and haven't heard anything. I would return it and get a new one, but they aren't available. Plus I bought it for much cheaper on Cyber Monday. I would be more than happy to change my review if I could just get some help and see if it actually does work.

I am in the dental field and my back takes a beaten. I LOVE this so much ,it helps in so many ways. I LOVE that one of the balls can get cold or warmed up.This helps get all the deep areas and gets the knots out

So this comes with ZERO instructions. Like none. Just the product. It would be good to watch the videos of people using it. You have to slide the ball off and then the suction thing will work. It does not work on anything except tile. Not doors or walls like they say unless your wall is tile. Lol.

I put it on a smooth surface (a door) and it stays on for a few minutes and then falls off.

I bring it with me to workout some knots on my bad and it works perfect. As long as you have a flat surface, it'll stick to the wall.
