Durable and Versatile
I love this skillet. It beats evenly, it's huge enough to make several burgers at once, and it looks amazing after daily use for over a year. The helper handle is a bonus, and the lid is solid! It prevents most steam from escaping. The steel is solid and doesn't scratch easily. You don't have to be as fussy with it as you do with nonstick pans, so metal utensils and a good scrubbing after use keep it looking good. You don't have to worry about coatings flaking off and making your food taste like burnt plastic. It doesn't warp easily (unless you subject it to unreasonably high heats when it's empty--ask me how I know). This is not a nonstick pan. It's important to understand that. Food will stick to this pan. You can minimize sticking by heating the pan, then adding your oil and allowing it to heat up before you add your food.

Honest and unpaid review of a fantastic pan
I rarely review products but this pan is so exceptional that I felt I needed to let people know. Prior to buying it, I had never used stainless steel. Every pan or pot I've ever used was non-stick. I could not get a great sear on my chicken or steak so I started trying new pans. I tried ceramic coated, copper, and Blue Diamond to name a few. I wasn't in love with any of them. I was afraid to try stainless because everyone says it's impossible to clean and food always sticks. I read the description for this pan and the seller gave very specific yet simple instructions for how to keep food from sticking and how to clean the pan. I took a chance, and I am sure glad I did! I've been using it every day for almost a month. I've cooked steak, potatoes, eggs, burgers, sausage, grilled cheese, and all kinds of other things in this pan. I've never had food stick and it's never been a problem to clean BUT I followed the seller's instructions. If you don't then those issues might become a problem. The instructions are simple. They work. You'll end up with the best tasting, most evenly cooked food you've ever made and an easy-to-clean pan. I will be buying these in every size I can get and I will NEVER own a different kind of pan or pot. This pan is a total game changer. The bottom is heavy so it stays at a consistent temperature. It cooks more evenly than anything I've ever used. It sears beautifully. It is extremely well made. It is oven safe to 500ยฐ. The seller gives you all the info you need to cook with and clean it. The instructions the seller provides are so simple and easy to follow. Just an amazing pan from a fantastic seller. As a side note, I do not know the seller, am not receiving anything for my review, and I paid the full price for this pan. I know there are a ton of reviewers out there that are paid or get free stuff to review. I am not one of them.

Seriously great pan
A seriously great pan - it is big and deep and it has a lid. Since it is stainless steel, it is not exactly non-stick. But you can make it almost non-stick by heating it up, then adding your fat (butter, olive oil, etc.), then adding your meat and vegetables, which have been patted dry. Then continue making your dish. At the end, if there has been any sticking, this pan can be deglazed with wine or broth. And anyway, it washes up well and can be scrubbed if need be. It can go in the dishwasher too. This is also a beautiful pan - so shiny.

Quite impressed
I had given away my 5-quart Caphalon to my daughter and then realized I did need a pan that size. I did not want to spend $70 on a new pan, so after reading reviews I thought I would try this one. I was really impressed when I took it out of the box. The width of the pan was as expected but the depth was much deeper compared to my old pan. And it was much sturdier. I don't mind the non-glass top. I always feel like I am going to break those anyway! It is quite heavy (it says it is 18/10 on the bottom). I am glad it has the helper handle. I have a 3-qt Caphalon with no helper handle and I am reminded each time I use it how much I miss that feature. It cleans up fine - obviously if you burn oil or food to the pan you will have to run a Brillo pad over it and maybe some Bar Keepers friend if it is really bad. So far so good.

Solid and essential piece of cookware
I love this pan. It's just the right size for tossing in a pound of meat to brown, sauteeing chicken breasts, veggies, whatever. It is NOT non-stick which is fine with me because I don't have to worry about the coating eventually coming off, and I can clean it with abrasives (if needed, haven't yet) without worrying about damage. It is not difficult to clean. It is a solid piece of cookware, meaning it gets rather heavy depending on how much you have in the pan. This can make it hard to pick up with one hand--but it has the 'helper' handle in those cases...and anyway, any pan can get heavy if you put enough in there. I happen to like the sturdiness of it, and it cooks very evenly which is wonderful. The lid fits well and makes a good seal. I am very happy with this purchase!

Excellent Cookware
It's been great. It sits flat on the stove and the handle is sturdy. It can go from the stove top to the oven and back again on account of it being stainless steal, so you can basically use it for anything (as good stainless steel should be.) And it won't rust on account of it being stainless steel. Best of all, there's no dumb non-stick coating that you have to worry about. Cooling with stainless is a learning curve, so don't expect to be a pro the first twenty times. But keep at it.

Very nice!
I am impressed. I did not have high expectations due to the low cost, but these Cooks Standard Stainless Steel pans are great! They look expensive and have a nice feel. I was considering another brand that costs a lot more, but thought I would give this a try first before going all in on the luxury brands. I have cooked with the large saute pan several times now. Excellent! I bought the stock pot too and it is very nice. The lid to my saute pan has a Cooks Standard black logo stamp on it. That is the only thing that I do not like. It is an odd location and does not look nice. It makes the lid look cheap. The stock potโs lid does not have a logo stamp on it. Other than that, this cooks well and has a professional feel and appearance. It is also easy to clean. I am happy with this purchase.

An Excellent Sautรฉ Pan at a More Attractive Price than All-Clad or Cuisinart
Great quality and value. Very impressed with the performance of this pan. Big enough to cook steaks and chops and deep enough for making shellfish with pasta, vegetables, rice or braised dishes. I am pleased that the stainless steel lid was included and not charged separately. I canโt at this time speak about longevity of this pan, but it is a nice alternative to All-Clad, Cuisinart and other sautรฉ pans at a higher price point.

My Favourite Pan
I love this pan, and I think everyone should own it or something like it. But at this price and quality, this is a no brainer to me.

So Happy
I had never considered a 'quality' sauce pan in the past as I had thought the non-stick brands were the way to go. After doing a bit of research on cast iron, stainless steel and carbon steel, it became clear I needed to make the jump. No more Teflon or alternative 'non-stick' pans. It is very easy to spend a lot more money on higher end stainless steel pots and pans. I do have a decent set of stainless steel pots I have had for about 15 years when we had a gas cooktop, but for whatever reason I never thought about replacing our frying pans. In those fifteen years, we have been through 3-4 frying pans as the Teflon coating eventually wears off. It is also unsettling what is now known about Teflon and even the reformulated PBOA free version is likely not great. I have now had the chance to cook with this sauce pan a few times and it has been a wonderful addition. It cooks evenly and it's surface has been as non-stick as any Teflon pan I have ever used, as long as you take a few precautions. Heat the pan without oil is important. Using an appropriate oil is also important. I had always thought olive oil was the way to go, but this is not recommended so I have switched to Avocado oil. I also recently bought a cast iron frying pan which needs to be seasoned (cook the oil in to the pan). There are lots of good videos online that can help you make an informed decision on this, but take it from me, a good stainless steel pan is a great investment. I won't need to throw it out in a few years. I can't speak to the longevity of this brand quite yet. It does seem to be a solid build. The handle is hollow which should help prevent it from getting too hot. I have seen a few comments complaining about the weight. Ironically, that is precisely what makes it good. The heavy base provides an even cooking surface so it isn't just the burner ring that determines the cooking surface. Do yourself a favor and invest in something like this. Do some reading about what real chefs prefer and you will quickly understand the value of stainless steel in your kitchen. So far, I could not be happier with this purchase!

Excelente producto
El producto es excelente, llega bien protegido, es pesado, de buena calidad se puede meter al horno. Derivado del uso estos equipos pierden brillo, algo esperado. Este es el segundo equipo que compro de esta marca. Lo recomiendo.
