How wide is the zipper? Can I put in a point and shoot camera?

You have to be a fairly slim person to fit this fanny pack. Belt hardly expands. Can’t answer you original question but thought I should warn you.

Will this fit an iPhone 8plus?

Yes - It does fit iphone 8 plus, however, I was able to get very little else in the bag... a key, 2 credit cards and cash was all I could fit in with the phone.

How many compartments does this bag have?

It has has one big compartment and one small one. No inside zipper for the smaller compartment.

Fits a iphone 13 pro max?

Yes - the large iPhone fits in the larger zip pocket of the fanny pack. It does not fit into the front component.
