Does this carrier bag protect the user from any of the heat made by the machine ? When i use the portable over-shoulder machine, it gets too hot!

I don't think the vac should ever put off so much heat that it concerns you. Since it does, I'd contact the manufacturer for a possible defect. I know these Hoovers inside and out having used them for over 20yrs - I've never had one get hot. The portable cover should, in my opinion, be used only as a convenience for carrying tools and the waiste strap.

does this holds all the attachments?

Yes, it can hold all the attachments. I didn't put in the larger floor attachment but it could probably fit as well.

There is no place to store the cord in this porta pack.

You roll it up and snap it in place at the handle. Works really well.

I can't squeeze the waist strap clip to get it off. with effort, i can get it on, but i need help to take it off. anyone else have this problem?

I never used the waist straps I don't even have them attached to mine. I only use the shoulder strap.
