Kilner Spiralizer Set with Glass Storage Jar, 1 Litre

This is easy to use and has helped me so much with all of my extra zucchinis this year. I think I’ll gift one to my daughter as well.

This is great and fits on standard jars. I wish the spiralizer came separately because I didn't need the jar.

I have a spiralizer that I never use because it's a pain to pull it out of the cupboard and set it up. This jar is quick and easy to use and makes salads a lot more "fun", which says something!

This is very hard on the hands and wrist. If you have any arthritis in your hands or wrists (and I mean the slightest bit) I do not suggest you purchase this item. Plus you can only use items that are no thicker than an average carrot! I had to purchase very thin European cucumbers and zucchinis!!! It worked okay for them. This product is now going to be given away as it's been sitting on the shelf in my kitchen. Easier to use a peeler made to use as a spiralizer!!!!!!!!

I was originally hesitant about this purchase because of the price point. I had seen this same item along with another device at a greater price from a non-Amazon website but was not interested in the additional item, so this seemed like a better deal. The item arrived as promised and was well boxed nice enough for gift giving. What was received was a narrow neck liter jar, a one-piece lid, a collard-type lid with the cutting surfaces and directions on how to use. The narrow neck size cutting lid had two cutting places. My disappointment was that you had to manually run what you were cutting against the cutting edges like you would a grater, rather than being able to hold the object being grated and being able to rotate the lid collar, in addition to it being narrow neck size. Did not seem personally safe for my use. As for as Felder I think the product and packaging are good quality but could be better designed. I would not purchase again because of price point of design (for my use).

Sturdy construction, well built. Works on all types of fruits and vegetables and cleans in the dishwasher. Love it!

I was gifted this for my birthday. I've used it a couple of times using zucchini and it works fine but it's not intended to be for large production of spiralized vegetables. It's tiring to spin the vegetable around. I found that putting the jar on the granite countertop, pressing and holding the zucchini firmly against the cutting lid and the spinning the entire jar around is easier than trying to crank the vegetable around and around. Even then, the zucchini (and I assume any other vegetable) will slip around a little and you have to reposition it. But overall, it's not too bad.Zucchini is fairly soft. I'm not sure how much more difficult it will be to spiralize harder vegetables, like a beet.I tried stabbing the top of the zucchini with a small fork so that I wouldn't accidentally cut my hand. That didn't work too well. You do have to be careful and not keep spinning the veggie or the jar until the very end of it.All in all, I think it works as it was intended and designed. For small quick jobs where you are not processing a lot of veggies at one time. I like that it's glass and stainless steel, no plastic. I found it very easy to clean. You can also put the blade and the jar (of course) in the dishwasher.This is my first spiralizer. If I discover that I like this kind of vegetable presentation, I will probably buy a larger countertop model. I would still find use for this, however.
