Good quality material. Perfect for my crafting needs.
Some of the projects I've been working on recently have required caning and while this caning might traditionally be utilized for seating, I have found that it offers a solid structural integrity and that it holds its form well making it perfectly suited to other crafting projects (in this particular case: utilizing it as a the wiring for paper lanterns). What impressed me: There is a significant amount of caning in a single roll. While I did not utilize it for chairs, I imagine you could finish several seats within one pack. What did not impress me: For the most part, the caning is structurally solid and worked perfectly for my needs; however, some of the caning was frayed. While I imagine this is to be expected with this kind of material, I suspect you might lose some of the material to this fraying if you are using it to outwardly wrap something (such as seating). But again, a single pack comes with such a significant amount of material, I do not think you will need multiple packs for smaller projects, even if some material is lost.

Good quality in most cases.
It was just the perfect cane but I had otd the wrong size.

Mostly good
I wish the pieces were longer. They were around 10’ which left me with a lot of finishing work.

Large quantity, excellent quality
There was more than enough caning for the repair project and it was very strong and easy to use

Good quality
This was good quality, but for my chair, we needed the Cain to be the next size -4mm.

Rocking chair, bottom replacement
I would recommend this for anyone needing to replace the bottom seat of a wicker chair.

The quality is very poor
I have hand caned many chairs and have never had such bad cane. Cane is a natural product so I expect some variation and I understand that cane requires soaking to be pliable enough to use. This cane was supposed to be 3 mm wide but some strands were substantially narrower than that. The scarfs were poor and often cracked. The thickness varied from too thin to so thick that even soaking did not make it pliable. It broke easily. For example, two of the central vertical strands broke as I was adding the first transverse strands. I had to reweave and reattach new vertical strands. Do not buy this cane. I have completed the chair because I could not afford to lose all the time I spent on it, but I do not expect the caning to last very long. As my grandmother told me long ago, always buy good goods. I have paid for not having listened.

Must soak it and keep it damp while using. Great product!
Excellent product! Soak it for 2 hours cold water and it works beautifully. Then use gorilla glue on bottom of chair afterwards for final secure seat. Love it!
