This is a nice little skimmer for picking up the little seeds and such that fall into the spa or pool water. It is not heavy, but it seems sturdy enough for daily use.

Seems strong and should last a long time. While it would probably be great for a hot tub, I do not own one at this time, but it has worked very well to clean leaves and debris out of my 3 tier fountain! A pool net was too large and this is really helping me out. A good size to fit and scoop large fountain out...

The skimmer is very sturdy and easy to use for quickly fishing bugs or a few leaves out of the pool. Nice looking, lightweight. I wish it had a little bit more screen or pouch to hold stuff. It’s flat across so can’t hold too much at once.

This is the perfect net. I needed a small, hand held net I could use when floating in the pool. We have these small, flying, ant-like bugs that fly into our pool and can't get out. If they get on you, they will sting you. I use this net while floating to dip them out as I see them. It's a great size and the metal screen is perfect. I am soooo happy with this purchase. I have been looking for one of these for a couple of years now. I was very happy to find this.

Bought this for the above-ground pool so the kids can keep the dive bombing ants and bees out while they swim. Extremely handy. Very very well made.

The size and handle length are perfect, and the construction seemed super durable, with a beefy frame. If I were to wish for anything, it would be for a finer mesh - to pick up sand. There was however, almost immediately, some staining where the metal mesh meets the frame, which looks like rust. After about two years, the edges of the mesh rusted through, so I just gave mine the heave ho. As a result, I would recommend going with a skimmer that uses a plastic mesh, like this https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0085EDZAK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 one. I've also had one of these for over 4 years, and it's still going strong. It's a little bigger than I need for a hot tub, but the mesh is fine enough to pick up most sand and the square shape is nice for getting in corners.
