Concrete Made Easy: From Planning To Completion Paperback – February 10, 2015

Very happy with the book

This is a well presented, nicely illustrated guide on how to pour a sidewalk or patio. I commend the author on making such a handy guide. BUT, I would not call it "Concrete Made Easy.....". It's more about the planning and preparation for pouring a slab than it is anything about concrete. I was hoping, judging by the title to learn about concrete. Ratios of sand to cement. How much rocks in the mix, curing times, different properties of concrete used in different ways etc.. When it gets to the part about mixing the cement, it covers more about managing a delivery of premixed concrete from a truck than anything about cement and concrete mixing itself. I couldn't even find a ratio of mixing your own cement to sand and rocks. It's a great little book, but I'm sure the author or publisher didn't realize that the title implies a different subject.

This is a good book to have on hand. If you own your own home, many jobs come up and this information is good to have at your fingertips.All of Theresa's "how to" books are a real help for people with various home jobs.

SORRY TO SAY BUT THIS IS A BOOK FOR A 5 YEAR OLD PERSON.THE LADIE WHO WROTE THIS BOOK A MRS.THERESA BETTER GO BACK TOCOLLEGE THE ONLY NICE THING ABOUT THIS BOOK IS THE FRONT AND BACK COVERS.IT APPEARES SHE KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT CONCRETE OR CEMENT WHICH SHE DWELLS ON.SHE PROBABLLY NEVER DONE ANY KIND OF MASSONARY WORK.THIS BOOK IS A POOR EXCUSE FORE A WRITER.PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVORE DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK.SAVE YOUR MONEY.I WISH I COULD GET MY MONEY BACK.THERE YOU JUST LEARNED MORE FROM ME.AND IT DID NOT COST YOU ANY MONEY.I AM AN AIRCRAFT TECH.AND AUTO TEC.I DO ALL TYPE OF REPAIRS BUT THIS BOOK.IS WORTHLESS.I AM SORRY TO WRITE A BAD REPORT ON ANY ONE BUT I JUST HAD TO LET THE PUBLIC KNOW .FOR LESS THAN THIS BOOK I COULD HAVE GOTTEN A 600 PAGE GOOD BOOK OF LOTS OF REAL INFORMITION. Only a few pages with very little content.Might be ok if you never worked with concrete before?Good condition and arrived quickly just no useful knowledge for me.
