Surf Co Tail Guard (Choose Color & Size)

I purchased two regular sized guards in clear for my Soulbourdiy surfskate deck. They are super-easy to apply, fit perfectly, stay in place, and protect the nose and tail from bumps and scrapes. These aren't cheap, but they look great and perform well.

Fantastic for use of protecting the tail of my inboard m1. It has a kick tail so rather than having it being chewed up by the asphalt this now protects it. It’s been a week and feels super solid on there as if it were manufactured onto the board from the factory. Very easy install so for $15-20 this is very much worth it. You can also cut it to fit your board if you’d like as well.

Got these for the front and back of my boosted mini. They fit perfect and you can't even really tell they are on the board. Slickest looking tail guards I have seen. Now I can commute with confidence. Installation was easy on a brand new board. I didn't really have to clean up the edges. Now I'm just curious to see how they handle daily use. Bumped these down to 4 starts after long time use. Even with following the instructions they start to unglue from the board after a few months. I have replaced my rear tail gaurd 3 times within a year and these are not cheap. I have had no problems with the tail gard on the front but it does not take any use since I never put my skateboard on the nose.

Works perfect on my Boosted V2. I attached it to the back as I often carry the board holding on to the front trucks, so the back of the board is now protected from hits / scratches. I have the 3D printed bash guards (flatland) on my other 2 boosted boards. They make more noise when put down, no flexibility, protect from a single angle only. It is much easier to apply these than bash guards as you do not need to unscrew the trucks.

Not sure if I was just unlucky, but the sealant tube was shattered and completely dry. Without it the thing doesn’t stick at all, I took it on a trip to Hawaii and ended up throwing the whole thing away. Check as soon as you get it so you can return it if it’s broken otherwise does not work. Bummed Bc now I can’t return it.

I thought it was going to be durable, but it litterrally took one hit on the rear end of my boosted mini X deck at a low speed, and mangled about 1/3 of it (the bumper). 😕 Come on.

Usually when I write reviews, I go in depth about the pros and cons, but I'm going to keep it simple because that's what this product is. It's a great, simple solution to a problem. I wanted some protection for the nose and tail of my Boosted Board. The nose in case I hit a curb, and the tail for when I want to stand the board up. These fit perfectly, were simple to install and seem to stuck on really well. (Note: do not try to pop the board up by stomping the tail or nose as this will remove the guard for sure). All pros, and no cons. It looks good on the board as some others have shown, and it is durable. Beats the bash guards any day.

They are smaller than I remember. I brought 2, one for a modern fishtail and one for a round tail. I will have to modify the fish because it is a little fat. None the less, these have always kept my boards that get used frequently and don't stay in a bag or rack, in great tail condition.
