This cellotape is of very good quality it has great adhesion. The rolls are full and for the amount, one gets excellent value for money. The wide width of the cellotape makes it ideal for packaging large boxes without the need to reapply several times. The clear visibility of the tape makes it versatile for many DIY projects, and makes for easy cutting and sealing. It is a great quality cellotape that I will always use in future.

Excellent strong tape

I bought this when packing up for moving and ended up using it on everything from small parcels to heavier boxes, and it’s held up really well. The first thing I noticed is how thick and sturdy the tape feels compared to cheaper ones—it doesn’t stretch or snap when you’re pulling it, which makes packing much quicker. The adhesive is strong straight away and sticks properly to cardboard without lifting at the edges, even when the box is a bit overfilled. I’ve had issues before with tape peeling back after a few hours, especially with heavier boxes, but this stayed sealed with no problems at all. It also handles temperature changes well (used it in a cold garage and still stuck fine), which matches the “heavy-duty” claim. Another bonus is that it’s easy to layer if needed—you can go over seams twice and it grips to itself securely without slipping. Picked up a roll pack of this during a house move when I'd already burned through a couple of cheaper tapes that were tearing inconsistently and not adhering properly to the box seams under any real tension. At that point in a move the last thing you want is second guessing whether a box is actually sealed. The difference was noticeable straight away. The tape applies cleanly, sticks firmly on the first pass and doesn't require multiple layers over the same seam to feel secure. On heavily loaded boxes that were going to be lifted and stacked repeatedly it held without any lifting at the edges or peeling back, which had been the failure point of what I'd been using before. The roll pack format made sense for the volume needed. Having multiple rolls meant no interruptions mid session hunting for where the tape had ended up and no rationing to make a single roll last. For anyone doing a full house move or regular despatch work the pack quantity earns its keep. Tear by hand is reasonable without being effortless, a dispenser makes the whole process quicker and cleaner if you have one to hand. Without a dispenser it's manageable but the tape has enough body to it that finding the edge again after each tear takes a moment. The brown finish is clean and consistent across the roll without the thin patches or uneven coating that sometimes shows up on budget tape. Drops just short of five stars because the core can loosen slightly in the roll over time making dispensing a little uneven towards the end, a minor point but noticeable. Solid, dependable packing tape that justifies the modest step up from the cheapest available option.

As per the title. Awful. If you plan to use this to pack cardboard boxes (mine were brand new cardboard), avoid like the plague. Every box peeled off on its own, and I had to buy a different brand (ARVO -> check them out; very impressed)
