Great cost effective replacement for Rain Bird Maxi Paw
My Rain Bird Sprinkler system is probably at least 10+ years old and is starting to show signs of wear and tear on the rotor heads and even the cup that houses the sprinkler has been sinking or angling due to the freeze / thaw cycles. Some of the rotor heads still work fine while others struggle to rotate, hence this Orbit replacement is extremely cost effective at 1/3 the cost of an equivalent Rain Bird Maxi Paw replacement and this is including the housing cup as well where the Rain Bird Rotor replacement is at least $20 just for the head. I highly recommend getting the Rain Bird Sprinkler Head Tool as it makes the entire job very easy and I'm not sure how else you could replace the sprinkler head without it. The tool works with both Rain Bird and this replacement Orbit head as well. Warning, the Orbit head is very difficult to remove from the housing it comes installed in, but it does unscrew with enough force (might need 2 people or use a vice to hold the handle of the tool while rotating the housing to remove the rotor head). Great Value, Great Results, can't go wrong with the Orbit replacement at less than $10.

Work well. Bought on sale.
Good sprinkler. Good price on sale. Regular prices are hard to understand but Rainbird is much worse.

Work fine, but installing them to replace existing sprinklers can be a challenge
I bought a couple of these to replace a couple of worn out Rainbird brand sprinklers in my system that had quit working. Once they were installed, they worked just fine, BUT, they are not a direct replacement for a Rainbird sprinkler. The Rainbird brand sprinklers are designed to screw onto a piece of 3/4" pipe. The Orbit sprinklers are designed to screw onto a piece of 1/2" pipe. So, installing these as replacements meant I had to run all over town to find a couple of 3/4"inside threaded to 1/2" outside threaded adapters. I would have thought that those adapters would be something commonly available. They aren't. After visiting 3 different hardware chains, I ended up having to drive clear across town to a company that specializes in irrigation systems to find the adapters I needed. Once I got the adapters, and installed the sprinklers, they worked just fine. But I spent more time chasing down the parts to make them work than I did on doing the actual work of replacing them. Just something for potential buyers to be aware of.

Junk
Junk. The pop up blows out of the sprinkler as soon as I turn the water on. Maybe they work with 30psi. But secondary water is never at 30psi. Neither is house/potable water. Two in a row, brand new, blew the sprinkler head out. I have other pop up impact sprinklers, and no issues with them. Even the cheap pop up work. But not these.

Water distribution
I bought several of these prior and like how easy they are to adjust and amount of water they throw.

It works
This item replaces other sprinklers for half the price. Will install later. Mk

Similar to rain birds but slightly cheaper.
Orbits work ok, similar parts and design to the rain birds but rain birds seem to work better. I would give 3.5 stars to orbits and 4 to rain birds. Orbits are a few dollars cheaper though.

Does the job.
Very good. Initially some teething issues. It would get stuck open. A load of WD-40 did the trick. It's been a good few months and still working.
