Somehow, these bit extensions seem to fall into whatever dimension also holds the infinite number of lost 10 mm sockets and laptop screws. This 10-pack of bit holders has neatly replaced all of the ones that were missing from various tool kits, and the extras I keep in the snazzy little plastic case they came in. (Yes, I said "snazzy." It's nice not having them rolling all over inside a tool box.)Very good quality. Would recommend to anyone who uses their tools with any regularity.

I went to different stores looking for these. But there wanted $5 just for one. So it's good for the price..

I finally started using them on the job last week, they have done exactly what I needed them to do. But, the magnet Inside the one that I used decided to break and now 1/3 of it is missing. I'm not sure if the magnets on all of them are going to break this easy or if this one was defective, but it doesn't show promise that the first job I use it on causes lasting damage.Other than that, the magnet is better than average. It isn't super strong. There are jobs that require me to install screws while on a two story ladder with only one hand, so having a really strong magnet can mean the difference between a 5 min install or a 30 min and 15 dropped screw install in that instance. Better than what I had, but not where I would like it to be.

The magnetic strength on these is as close to ideal as I can imagine. They hold the bit in without having to be a strongman to get the bit back out. I ordered a 5 pck expecting that I might lose some of the extension bit holders while woring on a backyard project. I was overly worried. I didn't lose a single one, and also did not lose any of the bits they were holding. A win-win for me. Thank you.

If you are a professional tradesman or even just a DIY guy, don't buy these. I know better. But I figured, why not give them a try? After all, they are so much cheaper than the name-brand holders that I buy at the big box stores. My experiment proved the old saying, that you get what you pay for. The magnets in the holder are not strong enough to hold the bit. I'm not talking about the long bits, but the little stubby bits. Either the bit was left sticking in the screw, or it would just fall out of the holder when I tipped the drill down. I lost two bits through the gaps in the deck I was working on before I changed out my holder to the Dewalt holder. I bought the cheap multi-pack because I like to have a holder for each bit type. Bite the bullet and save the headache. Spend the extra bucks.

I set up 3 of these as quick use for a small star screw, one for a large star screw, and one for a standard #2 Phillips. I was doing some fix on the skirting of the house and the barrel broke on the first one after pretty light duty. I wouldn't rely on these for serious contractor work or hard home use.

Relatively inexpensive and very happy with this purchase.
