My favorite website that researches toxic products prefers that we use stainless steel and cast iron cookware, BUT she advocates for DaTerra as being the least toxic non-stick product if we need to use it. This pan is different in two ways: One - it's made in Italy. Two - it's speckled like the old fashioned enameled cookware of years ago. It’s aluminum and coated with this speckled non-toxic surface. Handle is covered in silicone so it stays cool to touch. In addition, it’s compatible with induction cooktops. I love this simple, well-made, non-toxic pan that won't chip or peel like all the others do.

The perfect size for egg dishes. The pan heats up quickly and evenly. Cleaning is a breeze. I personally clean all pots and pans by hand. Just my preference.

Nice pan, but there was a sharp piece of metal where the handle was screwed/welded in causing a cut finger. Had to use a dremel bit to smooth it out to avoid injury while handling/washing.
