This is a perfect replacement. You just have to make sure you get ALL of the pieces of the old one out and use marine lubricant.

Took longer to get the old gasket out than it took to install the new one. No leaks and sealed the ports as designed, recommended.

It was a perfect match. Went in with ease and worked fine.

I just got to the point where I have the old gasket removed from the valve and ready for the new gasket. The gasket is glued in so it took a while to remove the old one. And I find out that this one is too small for my valve. I thought I had the part number correct but maybe not. But the worst part is that it is past the return window and now I have no use for this part. $15 burned.

I didnt realize that there was a difference in size based on the pvc diameter. My system was 2 inch pvc, and this kit was for 1.5 inch diameter. I returned it with no issue. It was sent quickly to me and was packaged well. Looks to be a very nice kit.

Remember, gasket like this is glued in. Perfect fit, took care of leak.
