How does the film get developed

Film takes about 3-4 minutes to fully develop. You start seeing an image after 1 minute or so. There is a chemical reaction that occurs when the film is squeezed through a set of rollers as it is ejected from the camera. So once the ink runs out, is the camera over? Or can I purchase more ink?

There is no ink. You purchase film packs. Packs come 10 photos to a pack and cost around $6.00/pack. Mini film can be purchased in both color and less common and more expensive black and white. You can also get different borders other then the standard white. Learn more about Instax cameras, reviews, tips and more at www.EverythingInstax.com.

The Mini 9, MIni 8, Mini 7S come with two (2) standard AA. The Mini 70, Mini 50S and Mini 25 use an uncommon CR2 battery. Learn more about Instax cameras, reviews, tips and more at www. EverythingInstax.com.
