I can’t say enough about this product so far. I bought this as a gift and the packaging did not disappoint unlike some where the product just comes in a flimsy bag. Bright screen and the frame is nice and would match a wide range of decor. Very stylish and something I would buy for myself as well.

Unit was only $60 so I was concerned when other similar looking products cost more than double. I decided to set it up before giving it to my parents to make sure it functioned well and was easy to use. Set up was simple as you really only need to connect it to WiFi and it's mostly done from there. Setting up Uhale on my phone was simple enough and now I can easily send them photos of my kids. I taught them how to invite others to send them photos as well. There's a boatload of display options that are easy to navigate but unnecessary for most people. I did most of that work for them along with setting a sleep schedule on it. There are other features such as storing and uploading photos on an SD card, but the included storage is more than enough for them. The screen itself is pretty great for the price, but it's definitely not an iPad screen, nor does it have to be. Don't let the cheap price fool you, this is a good frame. My parents love it. Can't speak for long term durability, but it's a cheap enough Chinese product that I'd be happy with if it lasted a few years before being replaced.

I had purchased this item as a gift three times; the frames always worked well, the picture display was great, and the frames were thoroughly enjoyed by the recipients! I then bought one for myself but mine simply stopped working for no apparent reason, unfortunately two weeks after the Amazon return window. I emailed the manufacturer and was pleasantly surprised by the timely response, resulting in a full refund! Great customer service!

For the low price, I suppose I shouldn't be surprised that it was worth it, but my expectations are pretty low. The Basics: It's well packed. Ironically, they don't expect you to get it for yourself: the box is a gift box. Power supply, tablet, and kickstand, plus a printed manual. I was briefly concerned when it wouldn't turn on, but it turns out that it doesn't have a battery. This is perfectly acceptable for its intended purpose, and helps to keep the cost down. Also, there were visible vertical lines on the screen, probably from the touch sensor. These are not visible while it's running, however. The Good: It powers up as soon as you plug it in, and takes you through a setup process. Although they really want you to connect to wifi for their app and updates, it's pretty easy to skip all of that. Once I put some photos on a 16GB card and inserted it, the device loaded the pictures, and when I tapped on one of them it immediately began a slide show. It doesn't get much easier than that, and it looks like I could hook the device up directly to my computer with a USB C cable and transfer photos that way. It plays fine from the SD card, but I'm currently transferring photos to the internal memory (also 16GB) so I can reclaim the SD card. 16GB doesn't sound like a lot these days, and with the ever-increasing size of photos, plus the ability to load videos, I can see you going through it fast. Also, the SD cards are limited to 32GB (I haven't tested this), but I put a whole lot of photos on and still had plenty of room on my 16GB card, so I consider this part of the good. It's a photo frame. That means it looks like a frame with a picture in it. This isn't an Android tablet repurposed for this: it's just a frame. As a result, there is no camera and no microphone to be concerned about. It's also very lightweight. The Less Good: It runs its own version of Android, and I haven't found a way to change that. I can't even put it into USB Debugging (apparently earlier versions could?), so there's that. As a result, there's no way I'm putting this on my wifi network. I had hoped to replace the proprietary cloud-based stuff with a locally-hosted picture service, but I'll have to settle for running a microSD card down when we want to add pictures. The device would earn the fifth star if it was easy to root and change the software up. That's really it. They heavily market their "free, unlimited cloud storage for photos" and it's built around the idea that you sync the frame with phones of interested people who can then send images to the frame. Cool idea for, for example, adult children living around the country or the world, who want to share their photos easily with elderly parents. I'm paranoid about security and privacy, so I'm opting out of that vision, but it works just fine from internal storage or from a microSD card. My lazy nerd wishes I had a remote update function that was under my control, but since this is for use in my own home, rather than in someone else's, it'll do just fine. I might even set up the remote way for a frame installed in my in-laws' home, just because I'm less paranoid about their privacy and security, and it would be convenient to share our pictures with them, as well as to show my father-in-law how to put his own pictures on it. tldr: I'm impressed. I'll probably get more, possibly in a larger size. I won't use the wifi side of things in my own home until I can control it, but it seems to be well put together.

This item will end up being an insult to your garbage can. Do not be surprised if your garbage can goes on strike after you throw this in it. It says it is made of recycled materials, you can believe that, but not much else. Ours became recycled material 5 weeks after we plugged it in right after Christmas 2025. I bought it as a Christmas present for my wife. It will no longer connect to our wifi. The wifi is 6 feet from the frameo and working perfectly fine and has a strong signal. The frame has the network name and password. On one line it says not connected to network and right below that it says network status unknown. Dear frame, the status is not connected, duh! I would send you a picture of this to your frame, if you have one, but most likely would not make it there. Actually, I am at fault, she received one for a gift from someone else 2 years ago and it did the same thing. How stupid can I be. Great concept if it actually worked but oh well. They say there is a sucker born every minute, I guess they are right. Buyer beware!

The reason I gave it five stars is because it worked well from Christmas of 2022 to August 2025 and now it’s a dead , had a power failure, and it died and hasn’t come back did all this normal stuff to reboot., reached out to Frameo and helped me a little bit, but can’t really do anything about it. I saw somebody else review and said there’s less about two years too. Guess the company needs to fix that ..
