total p.o.s.the cheap plastic case deformed in my hand , the probe fell out as a result. should be made to with stand the heat it is supposed to measure.

I really like this thermometer because it reads quickly and the metal thermometer part that goes into the food closes over the red handle part so that it not only takes up less storage space but its also safer. You can turn it off and on so as to save the life of your battery. It does have a magnet on the back that you can hang it up, which I do have it hanging on my frig, and you have to hang it a certain way or it slides down the side of the refrigerator - if you turn it at a different angle it usually stays in place (not figured that one out). Anyway, it was a good purchase and I'd recommend this if you're looking for a quick digital thermometer.

it's ok. it takes a few seconds, about 5 to get a temperature so it is not as fast as your more expensive thermometers. the quality is fine and i haven't submerged it yet. it seems to work for the time being. id recommend a more expensive/faster thermometer if you are very serious about speed. it is, as far as i can tell, pretty accurate.

This thermometer is great for cooking out or everyday cooking in.... Good gift for cooks and ships fast....best thermometer ive bought yet

Not an expensive BBQ thermometer, but works fine. Temperature appears to be accurate.

I think it works ok but it is not well made. It came apart eaasily
