Brabantia Silicone Sink Mat, Extendable, Dark Grey

Perfect for a ceramic sink! Protects well against dropping anything heavy and lets me put super hot pans in the sink right away (sometimes doubles up as a worktop protection for large baking trays too) The suction feet work mostly well though they can slide slightly if applied to the sink when wet - they hold better if you dry it before you press them on. The expandable design is amazing and made it fit our sink perfectly. Cleans really well and looks smart. Honestly didn't think such a simple thing would be so incredibly useful.

Finally good sink mat. Maybe it is pricey but it os worth it. You will spend much more on cheap mats that last a month and after they look like taken out of a bin. It is well made, sturdy, thick, has suctions that keep it in place. If only my sink was more squared 🙈 You can fold it in a half just to empty e.g. a coffee cup into sink hole. So far so good 🙂 It extends from 30 to 45cm. Plus, there is 5 years guarantee (as per info on the “box”). I definitely recommend it.

Really good and sturdy and you can pop it in the dishwasher I have marked it down as i have a standard sink and it is too big for it. BUT it can go up the side and stick to the side of the sink stop pans rubbing when washing them.

Better than I thought, protects my new sink

Really pleased with this sink mat. The silicone is sturdy yet flexible, so it sits nicely and protects the sink from pans and dishes. Water drains easily, it’s quick to rinse clean, and the dark grey colour looks neat and modern. A small detail that makes daily kitchen use so much easier.

Quality product. Oblong size customisable shape with rubber feet used for protection on work surface with non slip rubber feet. Just rolls up when not in use. Value for money. Would purchase another if required.

This is brilliant. Perfectly fits my sink ( measurements are accurate). Concertina’s easily to allow access to sink strainer. Suctions well so doesn’t move when washing up. I had two Joseph Joseph mats before. Looked good but did not last where the two sections joined together. Fed up of replacing at not insignificant cost. This is way more practical. Usual excellent brabantia functionality.

Only suitable for larger sinks. Despite the description saying extendible 30 - 45cm, unless its at near full extension it doesn't lay flat. It just balloons up in a couple of places, leaving you with 2 raised ridges. Its a shame as it seems to be good quality and the end suckers hold fast.

Tappetino da lavandino davvero ottimo. Qualitativamente parlando un silicone di qualità, ben ancorato al lavandino. Anche esteticamente è molto grazioso. Non ho notato problemi con il fruire dell’acqua nel lavandino, cosa molto importante. Sicuramente un po’ caruccio, ma di qualità. Branantia, non delude mai.

I mainly use it to dry extra dishes, mainly large pots and pans. Easy to remove, wash and roll up. Can place hot pots on it too. It stays in place in the sink too. Worth the price

Szukałem ochrony dla zlewu ceramicznego bo mam dużo żeliwnych naczyń. Jak kupowałem bałem się, że mata będzie wyglądać jak tandetny dodatek ale tak nie jest. Wygląda porządnie i spełnia w 100% swoje zadanie
