Is the box ready to use or do I need to purchase distilled water?

The box comes with a small humidifier. This does need filling with distilled water ideally as tap water is not the best although it can be used. I purchased some distilled water from Amazon. I got lots for about £7. Have well over 2 years supply. Sadly I am not a cigar expert so I cannot comment as to the quality of the provided humidifier but it does look and feel a bit cheap. I may buy a better one in the future. The box itself appears quality.

Does this hygrometer need calibrating? Since I have put my cigars in this box it has caused my cigars to dry out and saw some mold, I kept it at 65-70

This cigar humidor does not need calibrating. The relative humidity can be maintained using a few different methods, my personal option for that is to buy Boveda packs, they are ideal to keep the RH perfect for this box.

what are the dimensions of the box please, or is the package dimensions the box ?

I have one of these and they're great but I can't be bothered to get off my sofa to measure it, sorry.

How long toes it take to charge and ready to put cigars inside once distilled water is added?

A few hours, but preferably a day .
