Black Flocked Plastic Jewelry Tray Insert ~ 8 Compartment

I purchased this to fit inside a 5 drawer black storage/jewelry box. It works great. Not the best quality but I didn't expect much for the price. Shipping was more than the tray. I did contact the company that sold the storage/jewelry box and these liner trays to make sure these would fit because they didn't really give any information on the trays or the box I wanted. I am very happy with my purchase of both items. I ordered 9 of the liner trays. They came in gray, black and white at random. Two of the trays were cracked on the corners. It didn't really matter to me much as the cracks don't show. It seems as though they could have been more consistent on sending all same the color, but I didn't really care all that much. I gave 4 stars just because they are cheap trays.

The photo is of a black tray. The item description doesn't mention any color. Product features and description say, "Black only." In the third line of "Specifications of this item" it says white. With so many references to black in expected locations and a photo of only a black tray, my expectations of a black tray is reasonable.

Buyers should be aware that these tray liners are a 1/2 inch in height and ride about 1/8inch above the tray floor themselves. Using in a 1" tray will mean fairly good protection from jewelry being able to shift from one compartment to another if the tray is tipped. Other felt compartment liners for trays have much lower separation walls but the set here are pretty good. The separation walls are fairly thick which does cut away from the total volume of the tray a bit. Other than that they seem to work fine. Light white felt cloth covering on tray. Somewhat weak plastic construction. Could be more robust .

Not much to look at, a step above the inserts in chocolate boxes-which is what I was using to organize my sizable costume jewelry collection, but they are flocked and for the price they are well worth the investment.Not meant for portability, definitely for the drawers or shelves or whatever you store your goodies in- only.I bought several different sizes and am thoroughly pleased.

These are very flimsy, as mentioned in previous reviews. Definitely made to be inserts in trays. One arrived split, even though packaging was over the top. I didn't return, because more trouble than worth.
